After Divorcing my Captain Husband (Chloe and Michael)

Divorcing 472

Chapter 472 Seat

Asher asked the waiter to add a chair for Michael.

Not long after he sat down, the door was pushed open from the outside again.

Then Lucy's voice sounded, "Michael!"

Hearing this, Chloe froze.

She saw Lucy break up with Owen at a dinner with Amanda. And now, she couldn't help but wonder if Lucy was back together with Michael.

Asher didn't expect that Michael would bring Lucy with him. In his eyes, Michael might as well just give up winning Chloe back if he kept doing stupid things like these. Seeing Asher winking at him, Michael turned his head away helplessly.

Lucy was standing at the door and didn't hear Michael calling her to come in, so she didn't know whether to go in or back out, feeling awkward.

James intervened, "Well, a lot of guests joined us midway, it's okay with one more. After all, she's Mr. Shawn's friend. Waiter, add another chair."

Lucy's face lit up, and she moved the chair next to Michael.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

"There's no room here." Michael's voice was cold.

Lucy froze in place, her eyes filled with tears.

James said, "Please sit here. I have plenty of space here."

James moved aside to make room for Lucy so that he could be closer to Chloe.

Michael watched him constantly pushing towards Chloe and got annoyed.

Under everyone's gaze, he boldly moved his chair to sit between Chloe and James.

Chloe was startled. The collision of the two chairs made her heart tremble even more than the physical contact between her and Michael.

The familiar scent of his body wafted to her nostrils, causing her to look away subconsciously.

Everyone present remained silent, except Gavin, who was still a little confused about the situation and said, "Mr. Shawn, there's more space here..."

Michael chuckled, "As Paramount

Airlines cooperates with Bright

Moon International, I'll sit c

Dale for easier communication."

James rolled his eyes and complained secrertly, "I don't trust you!"

Chloe moved her chair to the side and sat next to William.

Seeing that, Michael seemed eager to split himself to sit on either side of her, isolating other men.

Lucy sat next to James, though reluctantly, she was still very close to Michael.

She simply bypassed James and spoke directly to Michael, "Michael, are you still angry with me about what happened before?"

With a frown, Michael looked at Chloe, wanting to see how she'd react.

Chloe had never liked Lucy. In the past, whenever Michael talked to Lucy when unnecessary, she would get angry.

But now, she looked quite composed. She was even enjoying the soup.

James chimed in, "What did you do, Ms. Campbell? Why don't you tellus so that we can help you determine er Mr. Shawn is still angry with

you."

Chloe raised an eyebrow, surprised by James's meddling.

Lucy's face flushed as she weighed her words before apologizing, "Michael, I apologize to you and Chloe for what happened before. I have been narrow-minded alDthese years, and I know I was wrong."

Chloe's grip on her spoon tightened.

She just came out to have a meal today and didn't expect to meet Lucy.

Now, she had lost the appetite to eat.

Asher didn't want to listen to Lucy and intervened, "Let's not discuss unpleasant things today. We're here to eat."

Lucy had no choice but to swallow back her words.

Everyone present looked at Chloe, Michael and Lucy.

Except Gavin, everyone in the room knew that Chloe and Michael were divorced.

Lucy ate quietly before asking Chloe, "Are you and Mr. Clark in a relationship?"
