EPISODE 18 Alpha’s first love
MOON STONE PACK
The Gammas in the history of wolves are the oldest and wisest wolves of the pack. They passed on words of wisdom through their stories and phrases to others within the pack. They delight in telling stories to pubs though sometimes what they tell are just legends but still each story usually has some sort of moral in it. In a pack, there are usually one or two who fill this position and one from each gender. Sometimes, there might be more than two depending on the populace of the pack or number of aged looking wolves. They are the elders of the pack.
“We could document this story and make the alpha a legend like other icons that has gone down in the history of wolves.” Brianna teased and they all laughed.
“Madison is a model and the alpha had enjoyed spending time with her. He loved her almost immediately and feelings had stirred in Madison too.” Hazel narrated.
“You could see that they were so much in love because Madison moved into our pack when they started dating. Everyone in the pack thought they were going to get married.” Brianna said.
“Yes I thought Madison would be our Luna because they lived like a married couple and she was already fulfilling her duties as a Luna in the pack mansion.” Hazel sighed as she took a sip from her drink.
“So what happened?” Meagan asked out of curiosity.
“The relationship went on for two years with Maddie leaving the pack once in a while to do her gigs as a model. And the alpha became assured that Madison was his mate.” Brianna answered.
“He decided to marry her?” Meagan tasted her drink.
“We planned a proposal event for Madison while she was away from the pack for about two months. They had kept in touch on phone throughout those months because the alpha couldn’t leave the pack for security reasons at that time.” Hazel stopped and flicked her hair behind her ears.
“On the day Madison arrived, the alpha proposed to her in front of some high ranking wolves and members but she rejected his proposal. She killed everyone’s excitement and expectation that we would have a Luna in our pack.” Hazel added.
“She already got the Luna’s title even before the ring.” Brianna snorted.
Her hatred for Madison ran deep for two reasons. The fact that the alpha had showed her too much love and care and because she also broke his heart and wolf.
“The alpha was shocked, his wolf was sad and he demanded a reason for the rejection but Madison couldn’t state one.” Hazel shrugged.
“She made a fool out of the alpha in front of his pack members that has showed him nothing but loyalty and respect.” Brianna hissed.
“Maddie left the pack after she rejected the alpha?” Meagan tried to complete the story.
Hazel shook her head in response. “She left. It was as if she only came around to say goodbye to him.”
“But one month after the relationship fell apart, the alpha found out that Madison had picked her career over being a Luna.” Brianna said.
Meagan frowned in confusion. “I don’t understand. I thought she was a model before she met him.”
“She was a model just building up her career to make it to an international level in the industry.” Hazel replied.
“Well the alpha knew how determined she was to be an international model and she didn’t want to fail. But he didn’t expected that she would reject him just to travel to Paris.” Brianna stood up from the couch.
“I feel she should have explained things to him. It was bad of her to reject him without any reason and worst thing is that he had to figure it out the reason himself.” Meagan commented.
“You are right. He could have provided a simple solution to the offer she had received to model for popular clothing brands in Paris. But he never got the chance to do so.” Hazel agreed.
“It is a simply solution. All she would have done was leave the pack to do her job and then return back anytime she doesn’t have a busy schedule.” Meagan reasoned.
“Maybe.. or maybe it won’t have worked that way. The Luna has to be present in the pack to help and support the alpha and the rest of the pack in time of needs. Her responsibilities also involves bearing pubs for the alpha.” Hazel explained the obligation of a Luna. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
“That’s a whole lot of responsibilities for a wolf that is pretty determined to go big in the entertainment industry. Career women don’t like to be stuck to one location or not being able to fulfill their dreams.” Meagan said.
Brianna nodded in agreement. “I still feel she shouldn’t have accepted to date him when she knew she wasn’t ready and knowing that the alpha wanted a Luna. Madison broke his wolf completely because he had a hard time getting over her while she was busy making a name for herself in the industry.” Brianna had a frown on her face as she remembered Madison’s face that always looked so innocent as if she could do no wrong.
“Well.. I think they are not meant to be together. The moon goddess did not destined her to be the luna of moon stone pack.” Hazel placed her hand over her mouth as she let out a yawn. She haven’t had a good sleep for days now. Planning and putting things together for the wedding has been much work for her.
