The Rejected Luna 70
hapter 70 Chapter 70
Rewena POV
I stepped out of the car and stood before the towering building of Evans Group. My heart was calm, or so I tried to convince myself.
I had come here to discuss some matters with Silas something crucial to my plans. But as soon as I approached the main entrance, a commotion caught my attention. Guards were dragging Lena out of the building. Her hair was disheveled, and her face burned with rage.
She squirmed and shouted, trying to free herself. The sight amused me, but I knew better than to let my guard down. Lena was unpredictable.
as I was about to turn away, Lena's eyes landed on me.
Her struggling stopped for a brief moment before she violently broke free from the guards.
She charged toward me like a wild animal, her face twisted in fury.
"Your" Lena shouted, her voice dripping with venom.
Before I could react, her hands clamped down on my arm. "I knew it! I knew there was something off about you!"
"What are you talking about?" I said, pulling my arm away from her grip. My voice was calm, but my stomach churned with unease.
You're Rowena! Don't even try to deny it," she hissed.
The accusation hit me like a slap. My heart skipped a beat, but I forced myself to keep my expression neutral.
You've lost your mind. Lena," I said with a nervous laugh. "How could I be Rowena? She's dead."
You think I'd believe that?" Lena spat, her eyes blazing. "I went to Silver Lake Pack, and everything adds up.
You arrived there three years ago, the same time Rowena disappeared. And you were afraid of water, just like her! You can lie to everyone else, but not to me."
My breath hitched, but I quickly composed myself. "That's ridiculous," I said, trying to step around her. "I don't have time for your nonsense."
But Lena wasn't ready to let it go. She grabbed my wrist again, her nails digging into my skin.
"Don't you dare walk away from me!" she snarled.
I yanked my arm free. "I don't have to explain anything to you, Lena," I said firmly.
But she didn't stop. She lunged at me, her eyes wild with rage. Her hands clawed at me, and I stumbled back. It was clear she wasn't going to let this go. I felt my patience snap. "You've crossed the line," I growled, my voice low and threatening.
Without another word, I let my wolf take over. My body shifted, and within seconds, I was standing in my wolf form. My white fur glistened under the sunlight, and 1 let out a warning growl. Lena, instead of backing off, smirked. "I knew it," she whispered, her voice triumphant. "That wolf... it's Rowena's!"
Her words were like a dagger to my chest. Panic surged through me, but I didn't let it show. Instead, I lunged at her, forcing her to back off.
Lena shifted into her wolf form as well, her dark fur standing on end, making her look even more menacing.
Hersharp, glowing eyes locked onto me with pure rage, and a deep growl rumbled from her throat, warning me that she wasn't going to back down.
Without hesitation, she lunged at me with all her strength, her teeth bared and ready to strike.
Before I could react, our bodies collided with a force that sent us both tumbling across the pavement.

The soul of claws scraping against the ground and our growls filled the air as we snapped and clawed at each other.
Her teeth narrowly missed my neck, and I retaliated, aiming to push her off rather than harm her.
Lena was relentless, her movements fueled by anger and determination. Her claws raked across my side, but I barely flinched, focused only on defending myself.
I fought back with all the strength I had, not because I wanted to defeat her, but because I needed to find a way out of this chaos.
If this fight continued, it would only draw more attention and make everything worse for me.
I tried to dodge her attacks, hoping for an opening to escape, but Lena was quicker than I anticipated.
Her attacks were wild but calculated, as if she knew this was her chance to expose me.
for growls grew louder, and her bites more aggressive, making it clear that she wasn't going to stop until she got what she wanted.
"Admit it!" Lena shouted through the mind-link. "You're Rowena! You can't hide forever!"novelbin
I didn't respond. Instead, I focused on dodging her attacks and looking for an opening to escape.
But Lena was relentless. She snapped at me, her teeth grazing my shoulder.
Just as I was about to retaliate, a voice boomed behind us. "Stop!"
