Bedmates Soulmates

CHAPTER 25

Saved By The Bell

Kira woke up feeling like a truck had run over her.

Every muscle in her body screamed.

Her legs were lead.

She couldn't run to save her life if the room were on fire.

Gripping the headboard for support, Kira slowly sat up in bed.

The sore in her thighs reminded her of what happened last night. ""What a beast!' she cursed.

The man had taken her twice in the stud

Her heart was in her mouth the whole time.

The window was open.

She could hear the cicadas singing in the bush outside.

The door was closed but not locked.

What if Elsie walked in on them?

Kira knew the housekeeper would never enter the study without Austyn's permission, but still..

Whether it was the place or the fear of getting discovered, Kira had climaxed early.

But Austyn was insatiable. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

He carried her into the bedroom, both of them stark naked.

On the short walk, Kira buried her head in his chest and prayed the housekeeper had gone to bed.

Much to her relief, they made it to the bedroom undetected.

Before she could relax, however, Austyn was on top of her, his eyes burning with lust.

She couldn't remember much of what happened next.

Just a lot of begging from her, grunting from him, and fireworks going off in her head as he sent her over the edge...

It was another fifteen minutes before Kira finally dragged herself off the bed and into the bathroom.

Elsie was mopping the living room floor when she came downstairs.

Kira traipse into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of water.

Good morning. Young Madam,' Elsie saw Kira and stopped what she was doing. 'Let me heat up breakfast for you." No, it's okay. I can do it myself."

Kira appreciated Elsie's solicitude, but she didn't need someone to wait on her hand and foot.

It was pushing a few buttons on a microwave oven.

How hard could it be?

Her phone rang when she was finishing the last bit of the soymilk.

Glana wanted to see her.

Kira put the dishes away, grabbed her backpack and nodded at Elsie before hightailing it out of the villa. She didn't want to linger long enough for Elsie to conjure up her secret-recipe tonic soup again Kira arrived at the classroom to find Glana already there.

Instead of 'good morning, her friend greeted her with 'Didn't you use to idolise Kayleigh Woods?"

"Huh? Kira had not yet sat down when she was grilled with a question that came out of nowhere.

Giana fixed her gaze on her friend. "I remember how crazy you were about the actress. You used her picture as home screen wallpaper on your phone. Whenever she had a new show coming out, you gushed about it. But I haven't heard you talking about her for a while now. Why's that?

Kira's

eyes darted around as she tried to think of a reply.

Giana was smart as a whip.

Nothing got past her.

She had to be asking such a question for a reason.

Could she know...?

No way, Kira's lips were sealed.

Giana must have worked the clues and pieced something together.

Kira knew she had acted strange when she got the call from Kayleigh yesterday.

She recovered quickly, but Giana must have caught the strained look on her face and her stilted reply.

It wasn't the kind of response you'd expect from someone who just landed a job offer.

Kira silently berated herself for her lack of acting skills while she fidgeted under her friend's searching

eyes

"Haha, why must there be a reason for anything?' Kira offered her friend a simpering smile, trying to dodge. a bullet by acting cute. "You know how fickle-minded us fangirls can be, crazy about one idol this second and in love with another the next..." "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey...

Saved by the bell!

Kira had never liked her ringtone as much as she did at that moment.

'Sorry, I have to get this,' she said to Giana as she grabbed her phone.

The caller ID was unknown.

Who could it be?

Kira answered the call with a tentative 'Hello?"

"Good morning. May I speak to Miss Kira Hewitt?' the voice on the other end of the line sounded energetic and professional.

A man's voice.

"Yes, this is her."
