Chapter 12: 12
Chapter 12: 12
"Who are you?" His deeply husky and serious voice asked her.
"H.. Hector's friend?" She stammered. Intimated by his presence.
"Why are you in this room?" He questioned while leaning forward. Intimidating her even more than she was already feeling.
Varys stared in amusement at the pretty girl with innocent eyes. Her jean shorts and Croatia top that she was wearing were complimenting her creamy white skin.
"I.. I... am.." she stammered terribly.
"Are you going to finish this sentence today, or is it going to take you the whole fucking week?" He smirked. Enjoying the tension that had suddenly taken over her in his close proximity.
She bit on her rosy, plump lips in nervousness as her eyes travelled here and there in search of an escape.
Varys did not know why he was doing this. Why he had gotten so much interested in tormenting the girl in front of him.
But he could not help but lean in more towards her.
"Hope!" Hector's voice suddenly echoed from downstairs.
Hope shivered suddenly and pushed on his hands that were capturing her in.
"Move." She snapped.
Varys lips got covered in an amused smile.
"So cat got a tongue, huh?" He chuckled.
"And this cat can bite too." She gave him a fake smile, bent down her head, and before he knew it, she dug her teeth in his arm.
Varys instantly winced and snatched his arm back. Taking the opportunity, Hope got out of his hold and ran out of the room.
Varys did not try to stop her but he had just found his muse.

Varys' parents stayed out for business trip most of the time. It was just him and Hector alone in the big mansion most of the time of the year.
Even though they had servants who did the home chores before they could even wake up, the house still felt too empty.
After seeing Hope that day, Varys had been wanting to meet her again, to see her again. But it had been over a week and he had not heard Hector mention her name nor had Hector brought her back here.
"Who was the girl that you had brought home a few days ago?" Varys sparked the conversation as casually as he could manage to without being obvious.
He could not let his brother figure out how restless and desperate he was to see Hope once again.
"Girl?" Hector asked with his mouth full of food. "What girl?"
Varys felt like punching him in the face.
Hector was as handsome as any boy with 'hotty next door" looks could get. And his personality was just the opposite of Varys.
While Varys portrayed quick anger issues, selfishness and over possessiveness, Hector was more of an easy going guy with a casual, careful and positive attitude towards everything.
Varys sometimes hated Hector. Because Hector was the one that was loved by everybody. The embodiment of charm and love.
While Varys was the devil that could not walk a foot without snapping in anger.
Varys did not care about anybody. But he felt like his parents's love was also divided between them, with Hector taking away the most of it.
"The girl that you had brought home a week ago." Varys responded in as calm voice as he could manage while picking on his food, "the girl with brown eyes and brunette hair."
"Hope?" Hector asked in confusion.
Varys took a sigh of relief upon the mention of her name. He thought he was going to need to slam his brother's face down on the table to make him remember.
"Yeah. That girl." Varys responded. He served himself some red pasta and continued, "how many times have I told you that do not bring strangers here. Who is she and why did you bring her here?"
The most straight question would have been if Hector was Hope's boyfriend and he had brought her here to get down and dirty in the almost empty house.
Even the thought made Varys upset and angry.
"Oh.." Hector replied while standing up from the table with the dirty, empty dish in his hand,
"That is what this is all about. I will not bring her here again if you do not like it. Don't worry." This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
Varys' fingers clenched around the fork in a painful grip in anger and he seriously started contemplating the most painful way of hurting between breaking Hector's nose and splitting open his head.
