Chapter 39

His good shape was revealed. His muscles were perfect, making it hard for her to take her eyes off him.

Briana suddenly thought of what had happened last night and looked away at once. “Are you a pervert?” she asked coldly.

Maxim had a smile in his eyes and said in a low voice, “You saw my body last night. Why are you being shy now?”

“Get lost!”

Seeing that Briana covered her head with the quilt, Maxim stopped teasing her. After putting on clothes, he said, “I got you some clothes. They will be delivered soon. I have a meeting to attend. Let’s have dinner tonight.”

“I have no time!”

“I will pick you up.”

Briana ignored him. After it became quiet, she lifted the quilt and sighed helplessly.

If she had known what might happen, she would not have come back for the phone. It seemed that Maxim would not divorce her within a short time.

She picked up her phone on the nightstand and made a call.

“Check out who was in box No. 5 on the 8th floor of Grande Club last night!”

Briana put on the clothes and found that they suited her well even in size. Her face darkened.

She called Melody and told her that she would not go to work. Then she left Grande Club.

Adeline’s smile froze with jealousy and anger in her eyes. “Oliver bought them for her, right?”

The secretary shook his head. “I don’t know.”

“Give me the clothes. I’ll talk to him.
