Chapter 56 Who Are You
Chapter 56 Who Are You
Sadie returned to the villa. Her hands and feet shaking uncontrollably, she was panting.
Throwing herself heavily into the sofa, she clutched the phone and wondered why she had to run,
instead of staying there to watch the show and tear off his mask.
She thought that he was gentle and considerate and behaved himself when they were dating, which
was bullshit as she saw it now.
He didn't treat her as a girlfriend at all...
"Where did you go? I didn't see you in the morning." Julian walked down the stairs naturally with a
trace of laziness on his face as he just woke up.
Sadie looked up, glanced at him coldly, and reached out to take an apple and took a bite. "Go outside
to get some fresh air." NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
Julian nodded, pretended to be unaware of what happened, and said suspiciously, "Did someone wake
you up?"
"No." Sadie chewed the apple fiercely, trying to force herself not to think about the scene she just saw.
Julian raised his eyebrows, smiling.
After having breakfast, there was no one on the beach. It looked as if the noise in the morning was
caused by someone breaking in by accident.
Sadie didn't think much, changed into the clothes he gave her, put on big sunglasses, and went to meet
customers with him.
Sadie was wearing black flip-flops and a cartoon-printed bohemian dress of the same style as the
celebrity, showing her sexy fair collarbone. She wore her hair down casually. She only put on lipstick
and had no extra makeup, which looked as if she was having a holiday.
Julian rarely wore a T-shirt with linen wide-leg trousers. He wore the same type of flip-flops as her.
People who didn't know him would never think that he was the head of the famous DHG Group in City
B.
When they arrived at the place, the person they needed to meet had been waiting for a long time.
He was a blond foreigner in his forties. He was a little bald, wearing a black T-shirt and khaki wide-leg
pants. He had a big belly that was almost reaching the table.
"Hi, Mr. Mccarthy." The man waved his hand and got up happily to greet him.
Sadie was held by Julian and politely nodded at the man.
Julian seemed to really dislike the man. He didn't greet him or shake hands with him. He was very
arrogant and rude.
Sadie didn't dare to ask anything. As they sat down together, Sadie looked at another pavilion not far
away.
She thought, "What are the odds!" She could meet Otto wherever she went.
The woman next to him seemed to have changed. This one was even sexier than the one before.
Biting her lip, she withdrew her gaze. When she noticed that Julian was looking at her, she raised her
eyebrows and sat without looking around.
"You interrupted my holiday with my honey." Julian started calmly. "I don't know what you want to talk
about. I don't think we are good friends."
He spoke English very fast. Sadie couldn't understand and turned her head to look at the sea, feeling a
bit embarrassed.
"My team has always been better than other teams in terms of research and development, and I hope
we can continue to cooperate." Caleb looked embarrassed.
"We will definitely cooperate, but it's not in a hurry." Julian took a sip of the red wine on the table. After
seeing Otto, he frowned unnoticeably.
How desperate was he? He was just messing around on the beach just now. And he still wanted to fool
around in the business and leisure area.
Lowering his head, he silently glanced at Sadie beside him and took the initiative to hold her hand.
Caleb didn't know what to say and he also took a sip of the red wine.
The awkward silence continued. The sound next to them gradually became clear. As Julian noticed
Sadie trembling, his eyes turned dark. Then he put down his glass. "MR Group will also be a good
partner. I wish you good cooperation."
After that, he pulled Sadie up and walked back.
"Sadie!" Otto's voice suddenly sounded. In the next moment, he rushed to the two of them, blocking
their way ferociously.
"Excuse me, who are you?" Julian lowered his head slightly and looked at Otto condescendingly,
curving his lips. "My wife doesn't seem to know you."
Wife?! Otto opened his eyes wide in disbelief. As he was panting, he looked at Sadie standing beside
him.
He couldn't see her clearly twice before. This time, she was standing right in front of him. He was pretty
sure that she was Sadie.
Sadie looked at Otto expressionlessly. Her hand on Julian's waist tightened unconsciously. She
pressed her lips trembling.
If she still had some attachment to him before, now it was all gone. She even wanted to slap him in the
face right now.
"Sadie, say something!" Otto's face darkened, looking rather gloomy.
It seemed that she admitted her relationship with Julian.
He really underestimated her. Without anyone noticing, she actually became Julian's wife.
The sea breeze blew over, curled up Sadie's hair, and covered most of her face. No one could see her
expression clearly.
Julian was close to her and knew her best. Feeling the anger of her, he habitually lifted the glasses on
his nose and said indifferently, "Sir, please get out of the way."
Sadie didn't say a word. Her eyes behind her sunglasses were cold as if they were covered with ice.
She didn't miss the disgust and contempt in Otto's eyes. After seeing so many eyes like that, she had
already got used to it.
However, it was still ironic when she saw that from Otto. The man who used to keep saying that he
would protect her and wait for her to grow up was just lying. It was ridiculous that she actually took it
seriously.
Nobody said a word at this moment. Otto wanted to talk to Sadie again but Julian's bodyguard
suddenly appeared and carried him aside without saying anything.
Julian squinted at him, held Sadie's shoulders, and left calmly.
Back at the villa, Sadie's face was so cold that it seemed to be covered with ice. She kept herself in the
bedroom alone.
Julian knew she was feeling upset, so he simply left her alone. He went back to the study to call Khalid.
After talking about the business of working with Rich, he subconsciously rubbed his brows and sat on
the chair in front of the French window when Khalid mentioned Cayden. "What did he find?"
"Someone sent Lady Sadie's picture to the house," Khalid said in a self-blaming tone. "I'll deal with it
right away."
"You don't need to. I deliberately let him know." Julian curved his lips and reminded. "Khalid, don't panic
when it's time to calm down. It should be people from the Chambers family who need to be anxious
right now."
Khalid was silent for a moment and then hung up calmly.
Julian threw away the phone. His eyes narrowed dangerously. He looked at the sea not far outside the
window.
As long as the Chambers family made a move, he would soon be able to find out the truth about the
explosion of the cruise ship!
In the silence, the ringtone of a message sounded, breaking the silence of the room.
Julian looked down at his phone, turned back unconsciously, and looked in the direction of the desk.
It was the phone that Sadie used before.
He got up to pick up the phone and clicked on the text message. After taking a look at the content, he
sneered.
