Forgotten Wife: Let the Traitors Kneel Down

Chapter 207

CHAPTER 7: WHAT THE BODIES SCREAM

April stayed talking with Alessandro for a while, about her trip to the kingdom of Laios. Then April went to see Lissana, when she entered the room she felt a strong wind, the maid who was taking care of Lissana, was desperately trying to close the balcony. That wind was not natural, it was Lissana who had created it with her magic. April used her cancellation magic to calm the winds. She approached the crib, the baby smiled when she saw her mother, April took Lissana in her arms and gave her a kiss on the cheeks and with a long sigh she said to her.

"What will I do with you my little rascal?"noveldrama

The maid closed the balcony and when she saw that the queen was there she tried to excuse herself.

"Your majesty, a strong wind suddenly started blowing. Is the princess okay?"

"Yes, she is fine, do not worry, you can leave, I will stay with Lissana."

"As your majesty orders."

When the maid left, April used her magic to suppress Lissana’s powers, she didn’t like doing it because when she did, Lissana spent most of her time sleeping, she knew she had to find another solution since she wouldn’t be there to stabilize her magic.

April remembered the earrings her mother had given her and wished she had them at that moment. But unfortunately they had been destroyed when she had released all her power. She wished she knew how her mother had created those earrings, but she didn’t know and she had no way of knowing either.

She caressed one of Lissana’s ears while thinking about the earrings her mother had given her to limit her power, suddenly an earring appeared in Lissana’s ear, she did the same with the other ear and the same thing happened, a small earring appeared in her ear. April was very surprised, she never imagined it would be so easy to create the earrings, although she still didn’t know if they worked or not, but she also had no way of checking it, she had to trust that they worked.

That day, April stayed the rest of the day taking care of Lissana. When night came, April returned to her room. When she entered, she saw Alessandro. He had just come out of the bathroom. He was wrapped in a robe and was walking slowly towards her. Her husband was a very attractive and seductive man. She couldn’t help but feel her heart racing every time she saw him.

“You’re back early today.”

She said without taking her eyes off him.

“I’ve escaped work to be with you.” Alessandro poured two glasses of wine, handed one to April and said.

“A glass?”

April took the glass that Alessandro was offering her, took a sip. The wine was sour, it tasted bad. She wrinkled her face and wanted to spit it out, but she didn’t, she forced herself to swallow it.

“I still don’t understand why you like this, it tastes horrible.”

“You still can’t get used to the taste of it.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this, it tastes horrible.”

Alessandro closed the distance between them, leaned towards her, kissed her softly and said.

“I’ve already contacted Sirius, he’ll be here tomorrow morning.”

“Then I’ll leave for Laios tomorrow.”

“Be careful on your journey.”

“Don’t worry, I will.”

Alessandro leaned down to kiss her neck and whispered in her ear.

“We should make the most of our time together. Don’t you think?”

April took his face in her hands, searched for his mouth and took his lips, she could taste the sour taste of the wine, although she had hated its taste before, on Alessandro’s lips she found it sweet and pleasant.

“Yes, let’s do that.”

Alessandro returned the kiss, his hands surrounding her waist and moving up her back. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his. Alessandro took her in his arms, carried her to the bed and laid her down gently.

Abril half-closed her eyes; she could feel her own eyelashes tickling her cheeks. She felt the shift of Alessandro’s weight on her, his wet hair touching her forehead and a pine scent that must have been from the essential oils the maids used to put in the bathtub.

That scent reminded her of the small forest that was in the farthest part of the palace, which she walked through countless times when she lived alone and forgotten. It reminded her of the day she had found Alessandro unconscious in the forest and she thanked God for that day, as it had been the beginning of their love story.

She sank her fingers into Alessandro’s hair, curled the tips, and heard Alessandro exhale against her mouth. He pressed his entire body tighter against Abril’s, as if he wanted to become one with her. April slid her fingers to the nape of his neck and went down until they settled on the muscles of his back, firm and strong.

Alessandro’s lips were like the touch of a feather on April’s skin, moving along her neck, her chin until reaching her mouth again; his hands ran over her body, in a soft caress, appreciating every part of her, her breathing and her heartbeats joined into one. April felt as if everything in the world had disappeared and only the two of them were left, as if the stars had exploded around them.

The love they felt for each other was like an overflowing river, which flooded and filled everything in its path.

Alessandro continued to run his lips over her body, soft and warm.

That night he made love to her as if in each caress and in each kiss, he wanted to tell her how much he loved her and how precious she was to him.

Words hadn’t been necessary at all, because their bodies screamed over and over again how much they loved each other. They both slept embraced for the rest of the night, their bodies pressed together, sharing their warmth; because even though the sexual act had ended, they wanted to keep making love, they wanted to continue being one being.
