His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 175

"Is that what you think?" Casper chuckled but didn't argue. "If that's what you believe, I'm fine with it."

"You're admitting it, aren't you?" Eliza staggered to her feet, swaying slightly.

She clung to his shirt, her eyes bloodshot with anger. "Casper, why would you do this? Haven't you had enough? My mom was already in a bad state, and you're still doing these vile, shameless things. You're a monster!"

Eliza felt like an invisible hand was squeezing her heart. Tears splashed onto her arms, her lips trembling with despair. "Don't push me, please don't..."

If she were really pushed to the edge, she wouldn't hesitate to team up with Zach. Seriously, he shouldn't push her.

"Ma'am, please, calm down. Mr. Casper, he..." Dillon tried to explain.

But Eliza cut him off, screaming, "He's an asshole! None of you are any good, not a single one of you!"

Her long-suppressed anger and hatred erupted uncontrollably. Her fists clenched tightly.

Suddenly, she tasted blood. Blood gushed from her mouth, and she instantly passed out.

Casper quickly caught her by the waist, lifting her effortlessly. He headed to the emergency room, instructing Dillon, "Get the best doctor in the hospital to the emergency room now." "Yes, Mr. Casper, right away."

"I'll go too," Aaron said, hurrying after them.

Eliza felt almost weightless in Casper's arms.

After getting her to the emergency room, he stood there quietly, unmoving.

Dillon approached. "She was probably just overwhelmed with anger. It shouldn't be too serious. Don't worry."

"Dillon, does she see me as a demon incapable of even sparing a dying person?"

Dillon hesitated, unsure how to answer for Eliza. At least, in this case, she had misunderstood Casper. "You should find a chance to explain things to her."

"No need." He wasn't the type to explain himself.

In a secluded coffee shop, a man had rushed over and taken off his mask. "Ms. Nova, I just got word. Rose has been declared brain dead. Her kidney is a perfect match for you. We can arrange the surgery

head

immediately."

Nova's slender fingers tightened around her coffee cup. She uncertainly asked, "If Eliza doesn't agree, does that mean we can't proceed with the surgery?"

"Technically, family consent is

required." The man paused,

acknowledging her reluctance to

handle this openly. "Ms. Nova, I. understand your concern. I've

spoken to the doctors. We'll proceed discreetly."

"And... no one will find out?"Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

She was afraid Casper would find out. After all, Casper hadn't given his consent.

"With cases like brain death, the person can last at most a month. We'll secretly remove the kidney, stitch her up, and no one will be the wiser. If she dies, even less so."

When the price is right, there's always someone willing to take the risk.

Nova seemed satisfied. "Dr.

Dominic, thank you for your hard work." She handed him a card. "There's two hundred thousand on this. After the surgery, I'll give you another two hundred thousand."

"Ms. Nova, just wait for the surgery."

The man pocketed the card, put his mask back on, and quickly left.

Nova sipped her coffee, a sinister smile playing on her lips.

...

Back at the hospital, Eliza slowly opened her eyes. She stared up at a stark white ceiling.
