Chapter 268 Someone Quite Dear to Me
Sierra seethed with anger, caught off guard by the unexpected confrontation.
Struggling to maintain her composure, she faced Nathael and exclaimed, “Do you even know who I am, Harris? Let me remind you that I am Ms. Sierra Cameron. If you dare to defy me, you’ll regret it!”
As Sierra fought to get her words out, her breath grew labored.
Her petite stature only added to her embarrassment. Held by Ethan, she appeared like a child in the grasp of an adult, a sight bordering on the absurd.
Ericko shot Nathael a significant glance, his cold gaze suggesting deeper implications. “Seems like you’ve caused quite a stir.”
Jimmy, his mischievous grin widening, added fuel to the fire. “Yeah! Did you do anything to harm my sister and then abandon her?”
Upon hearing this, both Ericko and Nathael turned to him, their gazes dark.
Unperturbed, Jimmy chuckled heartily. His handsome features, with red lips and white teeth, resembled a succubus, alluring and enchanting.
Seizing the moment, Leslie spoke up, Jimmy, I’ll clean up your mess for you.”
Meanwhile, the youthful–looking Donny, idly playing with a dagger, remarked, “Jimmy isn’t fond of being alone.”
Sierra’s face burned with fury as she struggled to speak, “How dare you? It’s only by luck that I even acknowledge your existence. You belong with someone like Maggie! Why does she get to be with you and
not me?”
Trapped in Ethan’s grip, Sierra seethed, her words starting to tumble out incoherently.
However, as her words reached Nathael and Ericko, their expressions darkened in unison. Nathael signaled for Ethan to let her go.
“Say that again, Nathael said coldly and firmly as he locked his gaze on the disheveled Sierra.
Sierra sneered, “What? Are you afraid now? I said you’re lucky that I even acknowledge your existence. I can offer you far more than that pitiful Maggie. You should start using some common sense!”
Nathael pursed his lips, signaling to Ethan with a raised finger, his gaze piercing.
In the next moment, Ethan went oyer and delivered a resounding slap across Sierra’s face before she could

continued to provoke him!
Did she truly believe that Mr. Harris was easy to push around? Did she assume he had a pleasant disposition toward
everyone!
“How dare you! How dare you slap mel” Sierra muttered angrily, her voice rising in indignation.
With fiery eyes, she glared at Ethan before abruptly shifting her gaze towards the man seated nearby on- the sofa, his demeanour unyielding.
However, before she could complete her sentence, Ethan grabbed Sierra’s hair and forcefully slammed her head onto the table in front of Nathael and the others, the impact echoing loudly.
Nathael, his gaze cold and indifferent, fixed his eyes on her and spoke in a deep voice, “Since Ronald failed to instill proper values in you, I’ll do it for him.”
Who do you think you are? Do you think you’re all that? D–Do you
As the words left her lips, Sierra experienced a sudden revelation.
Ignoring her words, the man referenced Ronald directly.
know my father?”
As Sierra’s vision cleared, she saw the extraordinary individuals surrounding the table. At the same time, the women beside them were all eyeing her disdainfully.
It was evident that these men were the main focus, not the “gigolo Maggic mentioned.
“W–Who Who are you?” Sierra stammered, her face draining of colour, a creeping unease settling in
Nathael extinguished his cigarette in the ashtray, his gaze icy. I thought you knew, Ms. Cameron.”
Harris… His last name is Harris…
Sierra collapsed to the ground as if her bones had turned to jelly, the once–proud arrogance vanishing in
an instant
When the group mentioned Mr. Harris, Sierra did not even consider the Harrises; she simply thought this person shared the same last name, and because of his good looks, they all jokingly called him Mr. Harris.
He… He is…
Encountering Nathael’s deep, cold, and penetrating gaze, Sierra’s mind went blank.
Maggie deceived me!
That woman Maggie played me like a fool!
Nathael stood tall and composed, his voice chilling, “I never hit women, but you’ve crossed a line.”
Sierra snapped back to reality, tears brimming in her eyes, “Mr. Harris… Mr. Harris, I made a mistake. I didn’t realise it was you It was all Maggie’s fault! She tricked me into believing you were just a gigolo! I thought… I thought…”

Jimmy could not hold back his laughter upon hearing that.
Leslie pushed up his glasses, a glint of interest shining in his eyes behind the lenses.
Fricko rubbed his forehead, feigning ignorance of Sierra’s previous outburst,
Meanwhile, Nathael chose to overlook the mention of gigolo, his dark eyes fixed on Sierra with a touch of amusement. “Coincidentally, Ms. Cameron, the person you deemed despicable happens to be someone quite dear to me. What are your thoughts on that, Ms. Cameron?”
Sierra gaped in disbelief as she turned to Nathael.
What did he just say
He… He likes Maggie!
If he truly was just a gigolo and had feelings for Maggie, it would be one thing, but he was the esteemed Nathael Harris. How could he be drawn to such a woman?
Before Sierra could dwell on this further, Ethan seized a bottle, shattered it against the table’s edge, and forcefully slammed her head onto the table.
A surge of agony coursed through her, not only from the impact but also from the multitude of glass shards piercing her skin.
“Ah! My face! My face!”
Under the unbearable agony, Sierra trembled like a leaf, her hands curled up in front of her but hesitant to touch herself.
Soon, crimson blood trickled slowly, filling the air with its metallic scent
Sierra’s vision blurred, and in her dazed state, she glanced up at the man standing just a few meters away.
The man remained composed, his narrow eyes exuding a bone–chilling indifference. He was treating her as nothing more than a mere insect.
With just one glance, Sierra felt a shiver run down her spine, an inexplicable fear gripping her as if she were walking barefoot on the frost of a bitter winter, the cold penetrating her heart.
“I won’t cause you any more trouble for Maggie’s sake, Ms. Cameron. As punishment, administer ten slaps to yourself, and we’ll deem this matter settled.”
Nathael was speaking calmly, yet his words filled Sierra’s eyes with shock and dread.
