Letting My Brother's Best Friend Take My V-Card (Jessie and Luke)

Billionaire My Husband 66

JESS

"Hey, pretty lady," a voice said from behind me.

I turned my head to see a blond guy leaning in, his breath war against my cheek. I blinked a few times, taking him in. He was handsome, in a way. His face was a little sharp, and he wa as built as Tom or Luke, but still, he was handsome in a refined way.

He wore a buttoned-down powder blue shirt, and I could see something silver shining under the lights-a chain of some sort.

"Hi," I replied, giving him a small smile but not turning fully to face him.

"Check out those moves," he said, pointing down to the dance floor where a guy was attempting a dance that looked more like he was having a stroke.

I couldn't help but laugh, "Think you can do better then?"

"That depends. Where would you rate 'the sprinkler' or 'running man'?" The stranger grinned, and I chuckled, shaking my head and turning back to the crowd. The stranger leaned in next

to me, our arms brushing. "You know, it's really unfair," he said, and without looking at him, I asked, "What is?"

"You. Standing up here. In that dress. You seem a little

untouchable. I had to take two shots to get the courage to come up here."

My cheeks heated immediately. I didn't know how to respond. I've never been the one to get compliments like this.

"Well, you can thank my friend. She picked the dress," I shrugged, avoiding the compliment altogether.

The man leaned in, his fingers rubbing up and down my arm before he whispered. "She might have picked the dress, but it's who wears it that makes the difference,"

I smiled at him sweetly, not sure what to say, so he pulled bar grabbed two glasses of complimentary champagne, and handed me one.

"To

you, the most beautiful girl in this place," he grinned, and I snorted.

"Does that usually work for you?" I cocked my head to the side, and his grin widened, almost like a naughty schoolboy.

"You tell me." His eyes shone a little, and I decided that I needed to relax. This was my birthday, after all. I could flirt with a handsome stranger and enjoy his company so I did something. I never thought I would.

I gulped down my champagne in one swift motion, took his and threw that back as well then pulled him down the stairs to the dance floor. The floor was crowded, but I enjoyed it. The burn of

the alcohol, the vibration of the bass in my chest, swaying to the music until I was lost in it. I hung my arm loosely over the handsome blond man who was just as lost as I was.

It wasn't long before I was hot, sweaty,' sticky, and dehydrated. I looked up at him and pointed to the bar. "I need water," I yelled, and he nodded. He pulled me through the crowd until we got to 17.50■■■

the bar, where he got us two water bottles.

I downed mine, not caring that water dripped down my chin and neck. When I finished downing the cool liquid, I lowered my head and noticed my dance partner's eyes blazing with fire. His eyes fixated on the drops of water running down my throat. I laughed nervously and wiped the back of my hand over my chin.

"So-l never got your name?" I ventured, extending my hand between us, my pulse quickening at the charged moment. Hi- gaze flickered down for just the briefest second before he snatched my hand with both of his, pulling me into his personal space. The heat radiating from his body sent a spark through my skin, and I swallowed hard. "Nick. My name is Nick," he growled, his voice rough like gravel, and my breath caught at the intensity in his eyes as he drew me closer.

Nick leaned in, brushing a stray strand of hair over my shoulder, his fingers lingering as if he savored the touch. The air thickened around us, and I could feel his breath dancing across my lips. "And you are?" he whispered, his gaze hungry, inviting. "Jess," I managed to mumble. My mind raced-this was reckless. I shouldn't be here. I was dating Tom, and I almost messed that up with Luke.

As Nick inched closer, his lips brushing against mine, I panicked. A thousand alarms blared in my mind, but he didn't force the kiss. Instead, he

patiently waited for me to meet him. halfway. Just as I felt myself leaning in, a strong arm snaked around my waist, yanking me back into a solid chest, a wall of muscle that jolted my senses back to clarity.

Nick's expression shifted from flirtation to fury in an instant... "Listen, asshole, I don't know who you think you are, but she's

with me," he spat at the person holding me. Nick tried to pull me

but the person holding me wouldn't budge. "Man, mind your business." Nick tried again.

"She is my business," the voice behind me slithered like ice down my spine. Each word sent blood racing through my veins- hot and cold at once.
