Chapter 36: The Council's Trial Part 3

Third Person POV

"-please continue" the Majesty said.

"My- my name is Margaret Malloy Sir" she said making him nod in response before he leans on his

chair.

"Okay then Ms. Margaret could you please create a weapon out of your power which is water"

"Weapon Si-"

"Didn't y-"

The Majesty raise his hand to stop the General again from butting in, in the conversation which he is

still not included.

"Yes a weapon and not just any kind of weapon-" he said and the other Council members look at him.

"Do you mean that-" the General was cut off again by the Headmaster.

"That's impossible your Majesty. She might probably even doesn’t know what kind of weapon are you

trying to make her make" the Headmaster said making all of them look at him except the General who

is glaring at the him.

"That's not an excuse Headmaster. She should have already known how to make that since she claims Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

that she is a water elemental. Elementals have already tried to make use to their powers to create

weapons and they are very fast" the Majesty seriously said making him stop from further talking making

the General smirk in amusement.

"The General is right she should already capable of control the water and be able to manipulate it and

create a weapon that she desires" the Majesty continued while looking at the girl.

"But-"

"Headmaster you presented to us a person that claimed to be a water elemental and we are testing her

abilities. If it really is true that she is then she should have the same abilities of an elemental. Just like

how we assessed if your son is really the fire elemental" the Majesty said while looking at the

Headmaster who is now speechless.

The Headmaster knows that this might happened but he didn't think that the council would interrogate

her like this until they get satisfied.

But the Headmaster suddenly remembered how did the Council assessed his so if he is really the fire

elemental and so with the others students who had the possibility to be elementals too.

He looks at the girl and then to the Council then sigh. He can't do anything but just to sit down until this

trial is over and act like one of them

"Do you have any objections Headmaster" the Majesty said snapping him from his thoughts.

"Nothing Majesty. Just don't overdo it and consider that she is still a student" he said and looks away.

"Of course Headmaster we are not that cruel and besides she is not a criminal to begin with but you

need to understand that we need to make sure since lots have attempted and claimed that they were

water elemental and manipulators that in the end we were just fooled and you know this" the Majesty

continued and the Headmaster got it immediately.

On the other chair the General was totally amused of what is happening. He didn't think that he could

see this side of the Headmaster again thought he already thought that this could happen but he didn’t

think that it was today.

"The let's proceed and no more distractions" the Majesty said and then again glance at the other

member of the Council who is still not speaking or even joining the conversation that they are having.

"Then I would still want you to create any weapon that you desire. I won't choose what weapon it is and

either what size whether the biggest or the smallest weapon but be sure that it is visible for us to see"

the Majesty seriously said to the girl.

"Yes- yes Sir" she said immediately while trying to calm herself because of the tension in the room she

is in.

The girl then nods and started focusing. She points her hand at the water that is in front of her floating

in the air.

The Council members look at her and observe everything that is happening especially the Majesty who

is the one giving the test.

The girl is focusing harder than she ever did before and tried to create a weapon. And at the end she

created a few daggers out of water.

"I'm sorry Sir but that's the weapon that I could only master since I just recently found out my powers"

the girl reason out when the Majesty just look at her and the General slumped back to his chair in

boredom.

"Kid are you really sure that you are a water elemental?" the General said in a harsh tone.

"A weapon wielder could just do that in a flicker of their hands and they would make even larger

weapons yet you could only make that. Even though the Majesty said that any size still you claim to be

an elemental. The fire elemental we assess made a large weapon yet you--" he continued while looking

at the girl.

"The water elemental and manipulators never wanted to reveal their identities even years ago up until

they vanished and you say that this girl just appeared and reveal his identity to you" the General said

look at the Headmaster.

"We all know that, that person vanished like a ghost after that incident. He just runs away and now do

you expect me to believe that..." the General look at the girl.

"Enough" the Majesty said stopping the General from talking this any further than it is already.

"You have said enough already General" he continued.

The Headmaster wanted to talk but he remained quiet and stop himself from talking and defending the

girl since the General has the point.

He speaks the truth and doesn’t care what you think. He is straightforward and always hits a spot.

The Headmaster was silent and talking to himself that maybe she had looked for the wrong person that

they are looking. Maybe this girl is not a real water elemental nor a manipulator but rather just a fraud.

She looks at the girl and she was looking at the ground. The water was still floating above the ground

and the daggers are on her hands.

But still she can make the water move according to her own will. And she could manipulate the water

and that is a proof enough to be called a water elemental. And if not an elemental but at least a

manipulator.

"Raise your head Ms. Margaret you did your best" he said and smile at the girl.

The girl then smiled at him but it was a little bit force making the Headmaster get worried at her but she

can’t do anything since it’s still not done yet.

"Tsk...." the General grunted while looking at the Headmaster.

"If you really are telling the truth that you are a water elemental that you say then could you could also

do my test just like how you did the two test given to you by the other Council" the older woman who is

wearing a white cloak said while looking at the girl.

The Oracle and Priest of the City.

She is responsible for keeping the future of the city safe and sound. She gives messages and can

foresee the future.

She gives warnings in times of danger and can see what will the future might be. Without her there's no

eye in the city who can see everything.

Everyone look at the old woman who is now talking while being silent for the whole trial.

"It's nice to join us Oracle" the Majesty said looking at her.

"Of course Majesty. I'm just meditating and analyzing everything you all are talking about" she said

while looking at them. Then she looks at the girl.

"Yes Sir- Ma'am" the girl stutters and look at the old woman.

"Could you please heal back to life that wounded fish that is in front of you" the Oracle said while a

dead fish suddenly appeared inside the water that is floating in front of the girl.

The Council members were shocked and even the girl.

"What--"

"That is absurd"

No one ever knows that a water elemental could do such a thing. They are known to be healers but no

one believed them so they hide this power to also protect them from people who wants to take

advantage of them.

"What do you mean Oracle by healing back to life?" the General said in shock.

Just like what you heard. I want her to heal that wounded fish back to normal she replied to the General

while the others are still taking it in especially the Majesty.

"She can't do that, that is already beyond the limit of the power of a water elemental. That is only a

myth since no one still had saw a water elemental to heal someone" the Headmaster stands and

protested as he looks at the Oracle.

"This seems to imply that you really don't know anything about a water elemental." the Oracle seriously

said looking at the other Council members.

Come on Oracle that is still not prove to be true the General said to her.

"Do you mean that day-" the Majesty said immediately looking at the Oracle

"Let's talk about that when we are all alone as a council. Let's deal with this first" she said looking at the

girl

"Then shall you please do what I asked" the Oracle said.

The girl was too shocked to even move she didn't think that the water elemental could do something

like that.

"What the... I never knew that they could do that" she murmurs while getting worried.

"You can't do it right" the Oracle said and she was more shocked this time.

"Did she alrea-" The girl said in her head then.

"Ringgg........"
