Chapter 21 Runn Into Stephanie
Blake's mouth was agape so wide that an egg could fit into it. "You're saying that... Mya saved Alfredo?"
He didn't even know that Myrna could swim.
Since he gave his coat to Myrna, Calvin was only wearing a black V-neck sweater, showing a lot of pale skin and his sexy collarbone. With his
chiseled features, he looked stunning among the crowd.
"Alfi scratched her neck, so I'm taking her to the hospital."
Blake looked sad when he looked at the scratches on Myrna's neck. Once he heard Calvin's words, he said without thinking, "I'm coming with you. Wait for me. I'll get the car.

Myrna was speechless as she didn't even want to go to the hospital at all.

She wondered why neither of them asked for her opinion.

Melcester General Hospital was always packed. The line for the Emergency Department was so long that people almost needed to stand outside of the hall. However, Calvin seemed to have connections. Instead of taking Myrna to the Emergency Department, he took her to the South Wing directly.
The South Wing was the VIP area of the hospital. Stephanie came here often because of her disease. It charged more dearly than other regular
departments and one couldn't get an appointment without connections.
They arrived at the first floor of the South Wing.
Blake went out to make a call.
One of the hospital staff ran over and whispered something to Calvin. Then, Calvin said to Myrna over his shoulder, "Wait for me here. I'll be right Chapter 21 Runn Into StephanieCcontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
back."
Myrna was fine with it and merely nodded. She walked to a desert corner and picked up a medical brochure on the shelf to pass the time. Therefore, she didn't notice that Lawson, Stephanie, and Abbey were walking down the
stairs.
Abbey had keen eyes and spotted Myrna from afar, who was standing in the lobby. She pointed at Myrna and cried in surprise, "Stephie, look. Isn't that Myrna?"
Stephanie had just visited her usual physician. She got the appointment because Lawson brought her here. The physician only prescribed some medicine that could soothe her nerves.
Her rosy healthy face fell once she saw Myrna. Subconsciously, she grabbed Lawson's arm and said softly, "Why would Myrna be here?"
Lawson saw Myrna too. She was standing in a corner, looking down at the brochure. He could

see the fine hair on her cheeks as the sunlight was strong. Her wrist was fair and slim as she held the brochure. Her slender neck craned slightly. Although he was standing far away, he could see her thick eyelashes on her half-lidded eyes... Myrna's beauty was bright and aggressive.
She and Stephanie were two different kinds of beauties as Stephanie was a delicate woman who needed others' protection.
Myrna was more like a wild horse that needed to be tamed.
Lawson thought that he couldn't control her and she could get away anytime she liked.
Stephanie, of course, didn't miss that Lawson had zoned out. It was obvious that he was thinking about Myrna. She bit her lip, the healthy pink she just gained disappearing rapidly. She wriggled her fingers and said in a worried tone, "Did she fail to rescue the child?" Abbey echoed, "I bet that the child got worse after

we left. In my opinion, Myrna shouldn't meddle with him in the first place. She did it to show off. I visit your house all the time and I never heard that she learned the special treatment. She was lucky that first time. When the child was waking up, she used that treatment. So, it looked like she woke him."
Stephanie agreed with Abbey. However, she was smarter than Abbey and kept her opinion to herself, defending Myrna, "Maybe Myrna did save the child with the treatment..."
"She knows how to save a person?"
Abbey snorted.
Then, she said to Stephanie in a meaningful tone, "Stephie, you're too kind. People will take advantage of you.
"She brought this to herself by being a smart ass. There were many people on that street. They all saw the child fall into the river and
