“It's not that,” Timothy said. “After leaving the tea garden yesterday afternoon, I suddenly realized that if
I truly love you, I should respect you and not cling to a marriage that's already dead.”
“Where were you yesterday? Why didn't you come home all night?” she asked.
“I went out for a meal and drinks with some people.” Timothy rubbed his temples, his speech slightly
slurred. “I might have had too much to drink and fallen asleep at the club. I don't remember what
happened after that.”
Upon hearing him, Johanna knew he was lying and gave him a kick. “I've seen all those news reports!”
Being careful not to wake the child, Johanna whispered angrily, “You could have easily handled this
with a phone call to Quinton. Instead, it's now blown out of proportion. You're such a jerk, Timothy!”
Seeing him take the scolding without a word, looking guilty as sin, Johanna's face grew even colder,
and she gave him another kick.
She was about to leave when Timothy reached out and grabbed her.
“I don't even know Yvonne. Who knew the media could write such nonsense just to attract attention?”
Timothy sounded helpless. “Jojo, don't be upset. I'll call someone first thing tomorrow morning to take
care of those news articles.”
Johanna shook off the man's hand, lowering her head to glare at him. “What's with that tone of yours? Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Do you think I'm being unreasonable? Don't I know you were happily chatting with her by the car?”
Timothy pulled her closer again, seating her on his lap. “Lower your voice. We don't want to wake Asel.
All right. It's my fault. Will you be able to sleep tonight if you stay upset like this?”
“If I can't sleep, I can't sleep. It's none of your business!” Johanna muttered under her breath, “Let go of
me.”
“All right. I'll let go.” Obediently, Timothy released his grip.
Johanna got up from him and started to walk away, but after only a few steps, she turned back. Seeing
the man looking at her with a raised eyebrow in confusion, she bent down and placed her hand on his
shoulder.
Timothy lifted his head to meet her kiss, his palm rising to rest on her waist.
After a deep kiss, he said to Johanna, “This time, I didn't overthink it. Jojo, are you seducing me or
not?”
“I'm enchanted by you.” Johanna's breath fell on his lips.
“I love hearing that.” Timothy chuckled softly, his eagerness leading him to kiss Johanna once again.
As his hand just touched the inside of her clothes, Johanna swatted his hand away, telling him to go to
the guest room.
After carrying the person to the guest room, Timothy surprisingly didn't undress Johanna.
He gently pulled her hand to help him unbutton his pajamas, then placed her hand on his chest, “What
do you think, Honey? Are you satisfied?”
Johanna was almost laughing herself to death. “What would happen if I said I wasn't satisfied?”
“If you're not satisfied, we'll do it a few more times. If you're satisfied, we'll do it a few less times.”
Johanna instantly understood what he meant by that. She was about to say something, but Timothy
kissed her and said, “I heard you, Honey. You said you weren't satisfied.”
After several hours of messing around in the guest room, the two left the place in complete disarray.
The bed and floor were such a mess that it was impossible for anyone to sleep there.
Timothy carried Asel back to the children's room and Johanna back to the bedroom.
He turned off the lights and crawled under the covers. Just as he was about to embrace Johanna,
Johanna pushed his hands away. “Don't hold me, or I'll get angry.”
Seeing the redness in the corners of her eyes and hearing the resentment in her languid voice, Timothy
gently coaxed her, “I promise. This is the last time. It won't happen again. Honey, please don't be
angry.”
“Just think, if the farmland has been suffering from a long drought, it would definitely hope for a heavy
rain, wouldn't it?”
Johanna was just tired initially, but his words made her turn around. She stared at him with moist eyes.
“Can't you speak nicely? Why do you always use such vulgar words?”
“I was just making a metaphor,” Timothy said, appeasingly giving his wife a kiss. He placed his hand on
her lower back, gently massaging it.
“Honey, how's the strength?”
Johanna hummed in agreement, lifting her hand to wrap around the man's neck. Although his body
was warm to the point of being hot, she enjoyed leaning into his embrace.
As Timothy massaged her back, he asked, “Honey, am I doing a good job?”
“Would you also ask your ex-girlfriend the same question?”
“I don't have any ex-girlfriends, only you, my lawful wife,” Timothy said seriously. “If you think my
service is not good, I can improve. Just don't stop asking for my service.”
