My Hidden Marriage With The President

Chapter 5 A Trapped Kid

“Miss Sommers, you should stay here until tomorrow.” After that, a man closed and locked the door.

Eva wanted to attend the audition for ‘Rose in the Wind’.

She touched her pocket, only to find that her phone had been taken away by Renee.

Eva shrugged. Then she sneered.

Eva had worked hard for so long, but it fell apart. Before Eva was overwhelmed by depression, a sudden bang behind startled her.

Eva’s hair stood up. She turned around cautiously. Under the moonlight shining in through the window, Eva saw a small kid crouching in the corner.

“Who are you?”

Eva’s voice echoed around the storage room, but that kid remained silent.

Eva stepped forward and gently poked the kid. “Kid, wake up. You will catch a cold if you sleep here.” When Eva touched the kid’s face, she found it was very hot.All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

“You’re having a fever?” Eva hurriedly put her hand on his forehead and found that he indeed had a fever.

Eva was a little anxious. It didn’t matter that she was trapped here. However, this kid would die if he didn’t get immediate treatment.

Five years ago, Eva failed to protect her child, so she couldn’t just watch and stand by. Eva wanted to save this kid. She made up her mind!

Eva forced herself to calm down. It occurred to her that there must be alcohol in this storage room, and alcohol could cool down the temperature!

Eva violently opened a bottle of wine, tore off her sleeve, and gently wiped the wine-soaked cloth in the kid’s palm.

It didn’t take long for the kid to cool down, and he soon woke up.

“What’s your name, kid? Why are you here?” Eva asked.

The kid looked at Eva defensively. His big eyes blinked, shining like stars. Whatever Eva said, he remained silent.

“You have a fever, and we must find a way to get out. The window is not high, but it is too small for me to go through it, so you can only get out yourself, but…” Eva squatted in front of the child and said with a serious face, “Remember to ask the others to save me after you go out!”

The kid nodded.

“Come here. I’ll hold you up.” Eva stretched out her hands.

The kid jumped into Eva’s arms timidly, shivering when he was sent to the small window. He hugged her neck tightly.

“Let go of me, and get out!” Eva shouted at him.

She put on a cold face. She must help the kid out, even if he didn’t come back.

The kid was frightened by Eva’s serious tone. Sobbing, he crawled out and stumbled away.

Meanwhile, in the top VIP private room on the third floor of this bar, bodyguards lined up in a row.

“Caleb, I’m so sorry! I shouldn’t have brought Liam here!” Nathan Livingstone grimaced, saying with a guilty face.

Liam was a kid who enjoyed the silence, but Nathan insisted on bringing him to the bar. Worse still, Liam went missing.

Caleb Livingstone was silent with a cold face, which sent a chill down Nathan’s spine. Even though Nathan was Caleb’s younger brother, Nathan was extremely scared when Caleb threw a fit.

Suddenly, the door of the private room was pushed open.

“Who is it?” Nathan bellowed at the bodyguards at the door. The next second, with a closer look, Nathan was overjoyed. He hurriedly rushed to hug Liam. “Liam, you’re finally back, or your father will kill me!”

Liam broke free from Nathan’s arms like a fish, walked to Caleb, pulled his pants, and stared at Caleb seriously with his face raised.

“Where have you been?” Caleb said in a hoarse voice. It was his first sentence ever since he came to Crown Halo.

Liam didn’t say anything but tugged at Caleb’s clothes harder.

“Caleb, what happened to him?” Nathan was a little puzzled.

Caleb didn’t answer Nathan’s question, but stood up, picked up Liam, left the private room, and walked in the direction where Liam was pointing.
