The moment Charmaine answered, Celeste's voice came through, breathless and full of panic. “Waaah! Charmaine, I can't find my entry pass, Ms. Ruc isn't answering my texts, and the security guards won't believe I'm supposed to perform! They locked me in a tiny storage room!"

Charmaine's face darkened immediately, her delicate features hardening. Without a second thought, she stormed toward the lounge and kicked the door open with a sharp movement.

The sound made both people inside jump, their faces draining of color at the unexpected intrusion.

Leah clutched her chest in shock, but as soon as she saw Charmaine's angry expression, a flicker of panic crossed her face before she quickly regained her composure.

Elvia Rue, looking annoyed, raised an eyebrow and coldly demanded, "Who are you? Do you even know where you are? Get out!"

Charmaine didn't flinch. Instead, she raised her phone, nearly shoving it into Elvia's face.

The call hadn't ended, and Celeste's desperate voice came through clearly. "Ms. Rue! It's me! I've been trying to reach you... I lost my entry pass, and the guards locked me up in a small room. Please help! I'm so scared..."

Elvia's face tightened, and she immediately scolded, "How could you lose something so important?!"

She exhaled sharply, her words filled with irritation. “I couldn't get ahold of you. I thought you wouldn't show, so I found someone else to take your place. Since you're stuck, just stay put and wait until the summit -ends. I'll come get you then."

Charmaine's brow furrowed deeply in disbelief.

"What?!" Celeste's voice cracked with frustration. "Ms. Rue, I'm right behind the venue! All you need to do is tell the guards, and they'll let me out. There's still time for me to perform..."

Before Celeste could finish, Elvia's sharp voice interrupted, "There can't be any mistakes with this performance! You lost your entry pass, and now you think I'll let

you perform? If something goes wrong, you'll ruin my reputation!"

Without waiting for Celeste to respond, Elvia abruptly ended the call.

Charmaine's expression remained icy, her eyes filled with quiet fury.

Elvia, clearly irritated by Charmaine's presence and disregard for the situation, spoke with an air of authority, "This doesn't concern you. You can leave now."

By the time Leah fully processed what had just happened, Charmaine had already turned and was walking toward her with measured steps.

A chill crawled down Leah's spine, and her body tensed as fear began to set in.

"Charmaine, what do you think you're doing?!" she snapped, struggling to understand how Charmaine could disregard everything she had just said. Is she out of her mind?
