Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

"When I studied in Usna, I had to rely on myself. No one in my family cared about me. If I didn't know how to cook, I'd have starved in Usna.

"My tuition was nearly 60 thousand dollars per year. If I ate out for every meal, my annual expenses would start at 70 thousand dollars. I didn't have that kind of money."

Linda had assets left by her father, so she could enjoy her best life no matter where she was, even if she didn't have to work.

Lina was different. She could be considered a poor student who couldn't afford a lavish lifestyle.

"I'll go to your house for dinner after the roadshow," Linda declared, ensuring Lina had no chance to argue.

Lina's lips twitched. "Why you so bossy? Did I agree to you coming over for dinner?"From NôvelDrama.Org.

"I'm not being bossy. I'm just showing concern. I know you live alone, and it's lonely," Linda said, winking at her.

"Thank you, but I don't need that. I don't feel lonely living alone. I have my cats, dogs, and birds. My birds even talk to me in the morning. My house is chaotic, and I feel happy and content. It's not lonely."

The makeup artist finished applying the foundation and brushed up on Linda's eyebrows. She then applied some lipstick and added a bit of blush to complete her makeup.

The stylist hung the outfit on a hanger.

"Ms. Felix, please try on the clothes. If they don't fit, I can make adjustments on the spot."

Linda put down her coffee and walked into the dressing room.

If it were summer, she wouldn't have to worry about what to wear for the roadshow as everyone would just wear T-shirts printed with the

movie's name.

However, it was winter, so warmth was the priority.

Most people chose their clothes. If Linda had to pick her clothes, she might just wear pajamas.

The publicity team knew their boss well and knew her to be unconventional, so they prepared everything from the start.

The outfit chosen for the roadshow emphasized warmth and

elegance.

Lina was amazed when Linda came out in the outfit. "I'm not joking. Let me be your manager if you ever want to switch to acting. I guarantee I'll make you a star.

"I can't take it anymore. Why are you so beautiful and not my artist? You know how painful it is to see those unattractive people every day?

Linda rolled her eyes at Lina. "Being a director is already tiring. If I switch to acting, what are my actors going to do?"

The stylist chimed in, "Ms. Felix, few people can handle this outfit, but you do it so well."

Linda thanked her.

She was used to people praising her looks. She used to feel shy when she received compliments, but now she was used to it.

She once thought being good-looking had no use, but after entering society, she realized good looks were like a passport. Wherever she went, people would give her some leeway for her appearance. "When I first met you, I wanted to rope you and Chloe into my agency.

"Lina had seen countless beauties but still marveled at how beautiful Linda was every time she saw her.

Linda checked her watch. There was still over an hour until the event

started.

"If there's nothing else, let's head to the venue." Linda walked out of the resting room, with Lina trailing behind. She carried coffee and looked just like an assistant.

The process of the roadshow was generally the same, only with different people asking different questions. Linda handled them all effortlessly.

She was quite adept at diplomacy after having learned it from her father since childhood. She often attended various dinner events with

her father and met different people. They all had similar topics to discuss.
