Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Never 211

In the past, even Linda had asked William a question, he would have never been so honest with his answer. It was hard for anyone to believe that they were once married

"Is Lexi asleep?" she asked, but before William could respond, Lexi peeked from upstairs.

"Mommy, I'm not asleep yet. I wanted to wait for you and Daddy to return home first," she explained.NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

Linda smiled and waved her ever "Come here, Lexi Give Mommy a hug."

Lexi ran down the stairs and dove into Linda's arm

"Daddy has an important meeting tonight, so he might not be home too early," Linda explained.

The two projects carved out from the Wilson Group weren't massive for the Lynch Group, but they were still complex

Samson had been swamped, but he always made a point to return home since Lexi was there

With Linda staying in the house, Samson's parents had moved to another villa

Although they knew the relationship between Samson and Linda wasn't what it once was, it still felt awkward

"When will Daddy be back?" Lexi asked

"I'm back now," Samson suddenly answered from the entrance. He had mashed home and was drenched by the rain. His clothes were damp as he entered the house. "Lexi, let Mominy hold you for a bit," he added

He took off his coat and casually hung it on the nearby rack. "I got caught in the rain, and now I feel chilly. How aboutthead upstairs to shower? Then, I'll come down and hug

Lexi nodded. "Then, Daddy has to drink that sweet soup afterward."

Samson chuckled, knowing exactly what she meant. The "sweet soup" was actually vanilla milk.

When she fell before, James had coaxed her into drinking vanilla milk by calling it soup as she refused to drink it otherwise. Afterward, she started referring to vanilla milk as the sweet soup she didn't like. "How about asking the nanny to pour a glass of vanilla milk for me?" Samson suggested.

Lexi immediately jumped out of Linda's arms and dashed toward the kitchen on her little legs.

Both Linda and Samson smiled while watching her run off

"Your daughter sure does care about you," she remarked

"Finally admitting that she's my daughter? Who else would she care about if not me?" Samson replied.

"Go take a shower before you catch a cold," she said while gently pushing him.

He shook his head while smiling and headed toward the elevator

Meanwhile, William stood awkwardly in the living room, feeling out of place.

Just as she was about to suggest he head home earlier, the sound of heavy rain pounding against the windows grew louder. It was an indication that the storm was worsening "Mommy!" Lear's panicked scream echoed through the house.

Linda immediately rushed to her, scooping her up into her arms. "Don't be scared. Mommy's here, she soothed

Back when they lived in a small and rainy town in Usna, Lexi had always been frightened by thunderstorms.

The beautiful scenery couldn't make up for the frequent downpours.

Lexi had health issues as a child. She often woke up in the middle of the night, startled by the rain, which made her fear storm as she grew older. "Mommy, I'm scared," Lexi whimpered and buried her face in Landa's chest

I's okay, Leai, Mommy and Daddy are both here. We'll protect you, Linda whispered softly, and her comforting words gradually calmed Lexi down
