No Bounds for the CEO’s Spoiling

As time fled, a week passed.

Qin Muxuan had been discharged. She started getting in touch with purchasers in China. As long as it was not Gu Zijin, she could surrender part of the profits.

In a lounge of a Group’s first floor, a woman sat on a sofa. Frowning, she raised her head to glance at the clock on the wall. An hour had passed according to the appointment.

A coffee was on the table. She grabbed it and took a sip. Somehow, the woman was agitated.

“Xuan, let’s go. Lee should be here an hour ago. Apparently, that person don’t wanna talk with us.” Jian Xi had a short temper. She was outraged after waiting an hour for the president named Lee.

Qin Muxuan was disgruntled at Lee’s attitude. They had planned to discuss the cooperation today, but Lee hadn’t showed up on time.

“We should wait.”

“Why? Although we are in difficulties, others have no rights to pick on us. They just ignore us.”

Qin Muxuan directly refused. “No.”

She frowned. ‘I’ve owed him so much. If I ask him for help, I won’t be able to pay off the debts for the rest of my life.’

“All right. I don’t understand you. How could you not fall in love with such an eligible bachelor? Other women will scramble for him if they get the chance.” Jian Xi shook her head.

Qin Muxuan had heard these words from Jian Xi a thousand times. Her eyebrow rose. “Well, I think Mu Ming’s great. He’s the eldest son and the heir of the Mu Family. Besides, he’s rich, hot and thoughtful…” Qin Muxuan said impassively.

Ten minutes were over. Qin Muxuan rose from the sofa with her bag on the shoulder. She left the lounge with Jian Xi.

“Are we gonna leave tomorrow? Then I will book tickets later.” Jian Xi turned to Qin Muxuan. In fact, she was hesitant. ‘Since we’re in China, she can visit Qin Xiaobai.’

“Wait! Ms. Jian! Ms. Qin!” That was Lee. Qin Muxuan turned around subconsciously. However, she noticed a man who were on the phone behind Lee.

The air in her lung was sucked out in one second. She ran out of the building as soon as possible.

“Ms. Qin!” Lee shouted. However, she was out of sight. Lee turned to Jian Xi in confusion. “Ms. Jian, what’s wrong with her?”

Jian Xi glanced at Gu Zijin who stood behind Lee. The man had ended the call. He raised his head and looked at her. Jian Xi avoided his eyes. She said to Lee slowly. “Mr. Lee, since you have a guest, I’d better leave now.”

After finishing her words, Jian Xi strode out of the building in her high heels. She started looking for Qin Muxuan.

“Mr. Gu, they left. You can rest assured.” After Jian Xi left, Lee grinned at Gu Zijin fawningly.

Gu Zijin nodded indifferently. His eyes were glued to the direction where Jian Xi left. No one could see him through.

On the other side, Jian Xi finally discovered Qin Muxuan at the roadside. She strode over. Qin Muxuan looked pale. Jian Xi asked. “Are you all right?”

“Did he see me?” Qin Muxuan looked up at Jian Xi nervously.

“Don’t worry. He didn’t.” Jian Xi comforted her friend.

Hearing that, Qin Muxuan became relieved. Fortunately, she was a fast runner. Otherwise, the nightmare would engulf her again. Qin Muxuan didn’t expect that she would meet Gu Zijin here. ‘Thank God! He didn’t notice me.’

“Jian Xi, let’s go.” Qin Muxuan stretched her arm to stop a cab. She hastily got in the car with Jian Xi, because she was afraid that they would run into Gu Zijin if he went out later.

Sitting in the backseat, Qin Muxuan looked out of the window. Her eyes were filled with tears. ‘It has been 3 years, but I’m still upset when I see him.’

‘He seemed to be thinner and maturer than before.’ Tears streamed down her face. ‘I haven’t gotten over him even though 3 years have passed and he has married Yan Yuxiao.’

‘They might have a child.’

Considering that, Qin Muxuan was heartbroken.

Noticing that Qin Muxuan was weird, Jian Xi moved her lips but said nothing. She knew her words would be in vain. Qin Muxuan should get over him by herself.

After 20 minutes, they arrived at Jiang Xin’s hotel. Qin Muxuan got her wits together, pretending to be normal. “Let’s go.” She said to Jian Xi.

Jian Xi nodded. She paid the bill and got off with Qin Muxuan.

They entered the hotel and headed towards Jiang Xin’s room.

Standing before the door, Qin Muxuan rang the doorbell.

After a while, Jiang Xin answered the door. “Come in.” Jiang Xin beamed and stepped out of the way.

As soon as they strode in, Qin Muxuan found Qin Xin playing with a Barbie doll on the sofa. Qin Xin raised her head and saw her mother. The kid hopped off the sofa in an instant and lunged at Qin Muxuan. “Mommy!”

Qin Muxuan crouched down to hug the child. “Have you behaved yourself?” Gazing at Qin Xin’s face which resembled Gu Zijin’s, she was in a daze.

Qin Muxuan looked down at Qin Xin who was adorable. She grinned and stroke the kid’s head.

“Xuan, it’s time for meal.” Jiang Xin checked the time on her watch. It was past eleven. She turned to Qin Muxuan.

The mother nodded. Suddenly, an idea emerged in her mind. She said to Jian Xi. “Ask Mu Ming to join us.”

She had decided to leave tomorrow. It was time to say goodbye today.

Hearing that, Jian Xi went stiff. “He’s busy. We don’t have to…”

“We’re gonna leave tomorrow.” Qin Muxuan said composedly. She was acting as usual. If Jian Xi hadn’t been there before, she might have thought that nothing had happened.

Qin Muxuan’s words were reasonable. ‘If Muxuan is determined to leave tomorrow, it’s better to say goodbye to Mu Ming today.’ Considered Jian Xi.

“All right. I’ll call him.” Jian Xi took out her phone from her bag and walked away.
