No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Donovan grimaced in pain. "Noelle, have you gone out of your mind?"

Noelle wiped at her lips, her hair a mess. Her eyes glinted coldly.

She said calmly, "You forced me to do this!"

Lucas helped Xenia up. Her face was swollen and her hair was sticking up.

She wailed, "Donovan, you must help me. She hit me!"

Donovan felt like he was being yanked in two opposing directions. He said to Noelle, "Why aren't you apologizing already?"

"An apology?"

Noelle grabbed a vase and threw it at Donovan. "Xenia was the one who made the first move. Why is it me who needs to apologize? Why? I'm not offering a fucking apology!"

The last thread of her sanity snapped. She grabbed everything in sight and threw them around while scolding, "Since young, this has been the case. Every time Xenia cries, I'm supposed to apologize. What the fuck am I apologizing for? Tell me. What have I owed you lot?"

Noelle destroyed everything she could get her hands on in the room while eyeing everyone darkly.

In the end, Noelle grabbed the IV stand and glared at everyone. "I dare you to say that again. What apology? I didn't hear you just now?"

She would not let them guilt trip her. She'd just go mad. How freeing!noveldrama

The room was like a warzone. No one dared to say a word.

Donovan looked at the mess and said, "Frank, look at how you've pampered her?"

She flung stuff around at the tiniest provocation! How could this be?

Frank stared back helplessly. Noelle had been forced to this state by them. They couldn't blame her for losing it!

Frank looked up and said apologetically, "Can you put that down first?"

"No!"

Noelle climbed onto the table. If she was going to be mad, she was going to be utterly insane!

Initially, she'd planned to stay as far away from the Liddells as possible. They wouldn't interfere in each other's lives. Since they wanted to force her past the point of no return, they couldn't blame her for pulling out all the stops.

Lucas burst out, "Noelle, I think you're holding Frank's IV stand!"

Noelle looked down. He was right.

Xenia sobbed and said, "Noelle, if you're not happy, take it out on me. Don't take Frank's IV stand. He'll get hurt."

Frank turned to Xenia with a frown. Why hadn't he realized how twisted her words were? On the surface, it sounded like she was speaking for him. Inreality, she was scolding Noelle so everyone thought Noelle was in the wrong!

Frank pulled out the needle, "No worries. It won't cause death."

He didn't want this IV to be another reason Noelle was scolded. He owed her too

much. Frank would give his life for her!

When Noelle saw him yank the needle out, she felt a little uncomfortable.

She said coldly, "I don't need you to do that!"

Noelle put the stand back in place

and pointed at Xenia, saying, "Crying again. All you know how to do is fucking cry. Every time you pretend to be pitiful and cry, everything becomes my fault. What a fucking annoyance!"

Xenia's sobbing session was interrupted by Noelle. She hadn't expected Noelle to lose her marbles.

Xenia whined, "Donovan, I'm in so much pain."

If pretending to be pitiful was such a good tactic, there was no reason why she

didn't play it up to her advantage!
