I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Viola run out of Klyde’s room screaming, ” help!” The first thought that came to mind was, ” what does she need help for?”

Doesn’t she still have feelings for Klyde? Why is she running from him? Why has she been avoiding Klyde’s advances towards her. Could it be true what I’ve heard the maids say about Viola? Is she really no longer in love with Klyde?

I got my answer when Klyde grabbed her inside and she yelled with all her might. The look of disgust and horror on her face when he carried said it all, she really doesn’t like Klyde at all. She must’ve not seen me, she may have even begged me to help out.

I shrugged when I didn’t hear anymore noise from his room and proceeded to unlock my door. That was when I heard the most alarming scream from his room and she kept begging him not to touch her.

What is wrong with Klyde? If she doesn’t want to sleep with him he should find some other girl to ease his sexual frustration, that’s never been a problem for him before, so why on Earth is he so obsessed with sleeping with Viola?

I unlocked the door but the way Viola kept begging and screaming broke that icy part of me that didn’t care about anything evil happening to her. I grunted as I turned around and knocked at Klyde’s door when I got to his room but the door was locked.

What did he plan on doing to her? This girl had given herself to him as a teen who didn’t know better, now she knows Klyde isn’t good for her yet she can’t even succeed in keeping him away from her?

I knocked again, this time I banged the door with all my might but Klyde didn’t open up. I couldn’t keep Viola from being Klyde’s sex toy before but this time she desperately doesn’t want Klyde to sleep with her and neither do I. Without thinking I smashed the door open with my feet and I found Viola pinned to the bed with Klyde hovering over her – the bastard was going to rape her?!

Who the fuck did he think he is to forcefully take her against her will? I was enraged and I couldn’t think straight, all the rage that I had bottled up since I found out that he had been sleeping with Viola just to spite me erupted from me and I charged at him.

I grabbed him by his throat and strangled him but even as I did, that wicked gleam was still in his eyes, he was still unrepentant! I threw him on the dressing table, smashing it in the process.

” Go to my room and lock the door!” I yelled to her but she was so shaken by what Klyde had almost done to her and she was visibly shaking as she stared at me.

” Viola!” I said again as Klyde was standing up and the she snapped out of it, grabbed the keys I’d thrown to her and ran out of the room.

” What the hell is wrong with you, you dick?!” I growled and punched Klyde in the face, Klyde fell to the ground again and glared at me when he felt blood in his mouth.

” The fuck is wrong with you?! She’s my wife by tomorrow morning so what the fuck are you going to do about that huh? As far as I’m concerned, she’s already mine!” He argued shamelessly and I winced at how dumb he sounded.

” You were going to rape her! Doesn’t matter if she’s your wife to be or not, Klyde you should never force sex on her!” I yelled at him and he kept quiet.

” She doesn’t know what she’s doing. She’s always wanted me, I was only showing her what she would be missing out on if she refused me.”

” I think that’s something you can show her without raping her you dimwit!”

” Fuck off Kade! You’re just pained that I fucked your girlfriend so good that she didn’t even want you anymore. Now you can’t stand the fact that I was about to reinstall in her memory the reason why she chose me over you!”

At that moment all I could see was red, THAT WAS A VERY BAD SIGN! I could kill him in this state so I closed my eyes and tried to breathe. Whenever I got so mad at Klyde I would think of the time before he and I hated each other. The time when he was the best brother to me, when he was innocent and kind, then I’d say to myself – that kid is still in there, don’t kill him. It worked Everytime and so did it now.

” Klyde… You’re not this person. Stop this,” I said and then I left his room. The only thing on my mind now was checking up on Viola.

I could hear Kade and Klyde’s inaudible yells and it lasted for a short while then it became as quiet as a graveyard. The next minute someone knocked and I jolted in fear.

” Viola it’s me, are you okay?” I heard a voice like Kade’s say but I wasn’t sure because Klyde was devilishly talented enough to mimic Kade’s voice.

” Prove that it’s you!” I responded and then regretted it, of course Klyde knows what Kade would say!

He said nothing for a while.

” Get away from me you snake! I’m never letting you touch me!” I yelled angrily and thought about escaping through the windows but when I looked out the window, I got scared because it was so far down.

” Viola, it’s me Kade.”

” It’s not you!”

” Viola… Come closer to the door and I’ll prove it ” he said but I got so mad.

” Screw you! You can’t get me that easily”

” Viola don’t make me say this it’ll hurt you…” He said but I still doubted him.

” Fine, I’m the only one you ever told this – your mom died shortly after donating two of her kidneys to you and your dumbass father hated you for it, but you know it wasn’t your fault right?” He said and I froze.

My eyes watered and I could barely breathe, I really only told one person that and it was Kade. I was thankful that he didn’t shout it, he came close to the door and said it. I heard it because I was close to the door the second he said he would hurt me if I made him prove that it was him.

My hands shook violently as I opened the door, Kade slid through the door and shut it but I still doubted that it was him. I still thought that Klyde probably switched places with Kade just pretended to be him – even with what he just said.

” Viola…” He said and looked at me, the look on his eyes was heart-wrenching. He knew I never liked that memory, he knew that was one of my deepest secrets. Only Kade would know how much the truth broke me.

” I’m sorry,” he said and I started crying, he stood there watching me then just as my legs started to lose its strength and I almost fell down, he held my hands and pulled me in his embrace.

” I’m so sorry Daisy. I just had to make sure you’re okay.” He said as he stroked my hair.

I had never cried like that before but at that moment, I was feeling mixed emotions because Kade brought up the one thing that’s haunted me more than cheating on him but he only did it so I would trust him enough to let him in.

I didn’t regret letting him in because he made me feel so much better as he apologized and hugged me as if he would never want to let me go while I ugly cried in his shirt.
