Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 11

The museun was filled with black wood exhibits that were hundreds of thousands of years old. It exhibited mythical animals, figures, and many other important symbols carved from wood.

At the same time, they hired a professional wood carver to work in the museum to educate the visitors on how wood carving was made.

The wood products sold in the museum were done directly by the wood carvers there.

Naomi was one of the wood carvers.

Seeing the fair hand with slender fingers, Naomi instantly knew that this hand often held a pen.

She looked at the square wooden plaque before looking up at the person standing outside the counter window.

Charles was in a light blue shirt and grey chinos, standing there looking at her.

He quit his job in Ayerland to return to the country. Against everyone’s advice, he moved to Horizon City and found a job there.

He already did it as fast as he could, but it still took him 21 days. That was right, it was 21 days since he found out the news about her divorce. Every single day was excruciatingly long for him.

Charles looked at Naomi, who did not change one bit in three years. His heart fluttered.

He thought he lost his chance forever. He never thought that the opportunity would just fall into his lap.

This time, he was going to hold tight. As tight as he could.

Naomi thought the person standing by the counter in front of her looked familiar. Like she met him

before.

Especially when she saw those tender gazes smiling at her as if saying, “Naomi, it’s been a long time.” Naomi furrowed her brows a little. “H–Have we met before?” If anyone else asked this, it might be at little misleading, but not Naomi.

The other wood carvers heard her question and looked over. They saw her looking at Charles and immediately knew what was happening.

“Naomi, is that your friend?”

Everyone in the museum knew about her marriage. They even gave her gifts back then, NôvelDrama.Org © content.

When Naomi returned alone, everyone had a rough guess as to what happened, even if she did not bring up the marriage.

She was married to a faraway place for three years. She must have suffered, so she returned.

Everyone knew her character well. Although they did not know what the reason for divorce was, they trusted her.

When they saw Charles, they were not surprised at all.

Naomi was pretty. She also had a good character. Back then, many visitors visited the museum just to see her. The staff of the museum were fighting to introduce guys to her, Including her old teacher as

well.

However, back then, Naomi was not interested in marriage. She only wanted to focus on her wood carving career. She loved wood carving too much. Everyone could not do anything, so they let her be

No one would have thought that she would suddenly get married one day. Her husband was quite good -looking and came from a good family. However, none of them thought that it was a good idea that she married so far away, and also especially when they found out that her husband came from a wealthy family.

Seeing how things went at that moment, they were right.

For the past two weeks, they all guessed that she must have gotten a divorce. Their urge to introduce other guys to her started once more.

That was why, the appearance of Charles was all too expected.

Some people were still equally desirable even after a divorce.

Charles smiled helplessly at Naomi. “You forgot about me.” He guessed that she might, but he did not think that she would forget him.

From Charles’s reaction, Naomi was sure that they met before. They might perhaps know one another, just that they were not close.

She looked apologetic. She placed the carving knife down. “I’m sorry. It’s just perhaps I haven’t seen you in a long time. I forgot. Do you have a name? Perhaps it’ll jolt my memory,” Naomi said seriously without any hint of joking

Charles looked at Naomi’s clear bright eyes and smiled. “Sean Johnson.”
