Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 172

Chapter 172

That was it. Barely acquaintances.

Naomi thought it was for the best. The reason why she told Belle where they were was so that once Belle was there, they could be apart. He could do his things while she returned to the hotel.

That was better.

It was best if they did not have any contact with each other.

Scott looked at her quietly, having her meal. She no longer looked nervous and anxious. She seemed to have made up her mind and no longer had any worries.

He had stopped eating and sat there looking at her with a darkened gaze, wondering what she was thinking about.

Belle and Dylan arrived sooner than Naomi expected.

"Naomi, Scott!" Belle called out to them the moment she arrived. Then, she happily went up to Naomi and sat next to her. She was just as friendly as Dylan.

Dylan followed her in and smiled widely.

When he called Scott, and he did not pick up, he roughly guessed what happened. When he saw Scott in person, he was even more certain. He smiled and walked over to Scott. Dylan looked at Naomi and asked, "Is your foot any better?"

At that moment only did Belle remember that Dylan had told her about Naomi's foot. She immediately looked at Naomi's ankle. "Naomi, how did you hurt yourself? You were still fine last night, right? I didn't believe Dylan when he told me about it. Is it serious? Can you walk? Does it hurt?"

Question after question. Naomi could not help but smile. She replied, "I'm fine. I just sprained it a little. It's not serious."

"Not serious? Dylan said you can't even walk." Belle thought of something and looked at Scott. "Scott, how did Naomi fall? It's really troublesome for her since she can't walk."

Scott drank some water as Dylan took a seat next to him.

He heard Belle's question. She was clearly curious, and Dylan did not stop her either. He allowed Belle to talk to Scott while he pressed the bell to call for the waiter. He had not had his dinner yet.

Naomi never thought that Belle would ask Scott directly. How could he possibly answer? Thus, she said, "I… "

"I pulled her along and she got injured," Scott said in his low voice while placing his glass down.

Naomi was stunned. She looked up at him.

"What? You got her injured? How did that happen?" Belle did not find any problem with what Scott said; she asked and furrowed her brows, clearly unable to comprehend how he pulled her along and she got hurt.

Scott rubbed his fingers on the class.

He looked at Naomi and said softly, "We argued."

The other three of them were speechless. Even Dylan was no longer smiling. He looked at Scott in surprise.

They argued?

How could one possibly argue with someone as gentle as Naomi?

Naomi was also in a daze. They did not argue, but her injury did have something to do with him. She never thought that this would be what he said.

She truly did not understand why he was doing that.

Everyone was quiet. Scott looked at Naomi, seeing the surprise and confusion in her gaze. Because of that, her aloofness and the distance she had put between them faded a little.

They were pulled closer once more.

He added, "She is still angry with me."Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
