Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 81

The sky gradually got darker as night set in. The streetlights illuminated the busy, bustling streets in a warm yellowish glow.

Fansville was one of the most famous attractions in Horizon City. Although it was a restaurant, its main selling point was that it was built right next to a historical monument, which also influenced the architecture of the restaurant. At the time of the building, the developers consulted prestigious historians in regards to the architecture of the building and was thus historically accurate to a T. The entire building process spanned years before finally unveiling the beautiful, intricate structure that was Fansville.

People who traveled to Horizon City would frequent this tourist spot and thus Fansville was known as one of the most famous attractions in Horizon City.

Naomi was here before; in fact, this was the place where she and Scott first met. Who would have thought that her fate would be entangled with this man’s from the moment they laid eyes on each

other?

Even after three years passed, Naomi could not help feeling mesmerized again by the beauty of the Fansville building. She stood in front of the towering wooden doors, awestruck, and finally glanced into the compound. When she caught sight of the familiar silhouette standing underneath the giant oak tree, however, she froze.

She did not expect to see Scott here too.

that he arrived not too long ago. He was still wearing his usual work attire–a navy shirt and trousers with a matching jacket draped over his arm as he spoke on the phone. His broad shoulders were taut against the fabric of the shirt, and the silk billowed down along his tapered waist.

The oak tree spread its branches above him, as though shielding him from the wind. The night sky cast its glow between the leaves, illuminating the ground beneath him.

The night enveloped the entire place in a hazy glow, making Naomi feel as though she stepped right into a dream. Everything felt unreal, and this sight sent shivers down Naomi’s spine as she was hit by déjà vu–she met Scott under the exact circumstances three years ago.”

“Is everyone here already? Let’s go inside, shall we?” all of a sudden, the person in charge called out

to her.

Dozens of wood carvers were working in this industry for decades, and all of them were invited to Fansville that day. Now that everyone arrived, the person in charge was ready to start the tour.

Harold turned to Naomi. “Shall we go inside now, Naomi?”

Naomi nodded. “Yes, let’s.”

As surprised as she was to see Scott here, it was probably just a coincidence, so she did not think too much of it.

She followed everyone else into the building. The person in charge was in the middle of an animated conversation with Quentin.

Everyone filed past the entrance and into the hallway. Naomi followed the crowd.

The noise caught Scott’s attention, and the moment he heard someone mention Naomi’s name, turned to glance in the direction of the noise.

The wood carving industry was predominantly men, and women rarely ever expressed interest in wood carving, since it was a job that required a lot of handiwork.

Most of the wood carvers were men in their fifties, with only a few in their early thirties, but Naomi was the only woman there. Therefore, her presence no doubt stuck out like a sore thumb, and caught Scott’s eye immediately.
