Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 23

If Jesse could stand and walk on his legs, the chances of recovery would be much greater. Nydia grabbed her notes and compared them to the acupoint map. If she could restore Jesse’s legs to their former state, he would definitely trust her again.

Once trust is lost, it’s hard to regain.

The same goes for Willette and Barclay. Barclay couldn’t fully trust Willette anymore after witnessing that scene, and Willette had to design Barclay. From now on, these two would have their own suspicions and ideas.

Nydia didn’t think Jesse would agree to the plan.

But the next night, Jesse called her into the office.

“The electronic version of the plan is here. You said you were going to make some changes. Show me the revised version now.”

Nydia was taken aback for a moment, but before Jesse could question her, she immediately agreed, “Okay, I’ll revise it now.”

She put her phone on the desk and started working.

The plan was not very long, only five pages, with complete data and their own prices and services.

Jesse sat beside her, occasionally looking up to see Nydia’s focused face. Nydia worked and brainstormed at the same time.

There were not many changes needed in the plan, but once revised, it would affect the whole plan.

“Okay.”

Nydia started a new document, copied and pasted the plan, and made changes where necessary. It took her nearly half an hour to complete the revisions, and she spent some time checking to ensure there were no typos or omissions.

“Take a look.” She pushed the computer to Jesse’s side.

Jesse scanned through it. He knew the plan well, so he naturally knew which parts Nydia had modified.

After reading it, he came to a conclusion:

Nydia had increased the cost, but she had also increased the service content, such as transportation of goods, after-sales service, and even guaranteed to buy back unsold goods.

Jesse looked at Nydia in surprise.

“What? Is there something that needs to be changed? I can make some modifications.” In fact, she had very little experience in planning, so she was worried that there might be problems.

“You don’t seem that stupid either.”

Nydia breathed a sigh of relief, feeling recognized.

“I’m not that stupid, but sometimes I can be quite stubborn.” She had come to a profound realization about herself, that once she had made up her mind about something, she would not easily change it, which made it difficult for her to see things clearly.

Mainly because before the Wagner family had an accident, her life was too comfortable, and everyone was always obedient to her. She had never experienced setbacks before, so the first setback in her life was when her parents had an accident, which had completely destroyed her.

Jesse looked away from her and looked at the plan, but in his mind he saw a ten-year-old girl who stubbornly wanted to help him, even though she knew it was very dangerous. It was precisely because of her stubbornness that he was saved.

“I’m going to call Barclay now and tell him I have the plan.”

She dialed Barclay’s number and put it on speakerphone.

The phone rang for a while before he picked up.

“Hello, Nydia.” Barclay’s voice sounded tired.

“Brother-in-law, I have the plan now,” she cut to the chase.

“What? You have it? Really? Are you safe now? Has Jesse found out?” His tone changed suddenly.

Nydia glanced at Jesse next to her. He looked arrogant and had a disdainful curve on his lips.
