After reaching Wiltspoon Hotel, Dylan led Sugar inside and helped her check-in, covering all of her expenses since Grandma May said she was the York family's honored guest. Naturally, they had to be generous to their guests.

After getting the room card, Dylan handed it to Sugar and said, "Do you need me to walk you up?"

Sugar smiled and said, "There's no need. Thank you for dropping me off here. I have to head over to my initial hotel and check out, and grab my things."

"Now? Do you want me to drop you off?"

"No, it's fine. Thank you. Please go ahead and let your grandma know you've dropped me off at the hotel so she doesn't worry." Sugar declined again, so Dylan did not insist and walked off after telling her to call if she needed anything.

She watched him leave, thinking about something. It was only when he disappeared from her line of sight that she made a move and walked outside. First, she headed over to her temporary resting place and packed a small bag to move to Wiltspoon Hotel to stay for a few days.

Her mentor would probably stay in Wiltspoon for another two days. If she dared to leave early while he was still here, he would give her an earful.

Dylan had booked a suite with a hall for Sugar. It was spacious and comfortable for one person to stay in. After showering, she sat on the sofa and texted the old man to ask if he had gone to sleep.

Silver: [Yes.]

Sugar laughed. [You can reply to texts when you're asleep?]

[I'm dreaming. I dreamed my disciple texted me, so I replied.]

Sugar decided to just call him. He picked up, and Sugar could hear others still sitting by him and talking, so she said. "Old man, you're getting on in years. Don't stay up late anymore and go to sleep early. You still have to make a trip to Wildridge Manor tomorrow, you know."

"We're having some barbecue and drinks right now. We won't drink too much and get drunk."

Upon hearing this, Sugar griped,

et

"Wow, old man. You guys are too much. You only started the barbecue after I left. Why? Do you not want to let me eat too? Are you guys worried I'll eat your share too?"

"It was a last-minute thing. We're just guests. If the hosts arrange for it, we'll just follow along."

Sugar was speechless. It was a mystery who had organized the barbecue she missed out on.

"It's not like you don't have barbecue often anyway." Silver commented, "You should cut down, too. Otherwise, you might get a face full of pimples and look really ugly."

"I know, I'll monitor myself."

"When I'm out traveling, I sometimes camp in the wilderness, so grilling is all I can do with the fish, or shrimp, or wild chickens, or wild rabbits that I manage to catch."

Silver took a sip of his whiskey and sighed, "The whiskey Audrey's collected is really good. Hey, when I leave, give me a few bottles of good whiskey to bring back and drink during the New Year's."

Sugar heard Silver talking to Audrey, begging for alcohol, and could not resist saying, "Don't you have tons of alcohol, Master? You have all sorts of good alcohol. You have to peel yourself away even if you see some good alcohol. If my seniors find out about this, they'll give you an earful, scolding you with things you've never heard before."

Silver immediately hung up on Sugar.
