Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1009

Andre strolled past his son, scooping little Henry up under his arms and lifting the chubby bundle into a warm embrace. After being away from home for days, he finally got to hold his soft little munchkin again. Henry wriggled with excitement in his dad's arms, wrapping his

As they approached their foreign friends, Andre noticed three men each had an arm around a woman, and he said, "No worries, I'll teach my wife myself." He draped a towel over his wife's shoulders, covering her bright-eyed beauty because he thought it was for him alone to admire.

tiny arms around his dad's neck with affection.

Leo, not missing a beat, grabbed a towel too, wrapping Anya up so snugly that even her arms were tucked in, just like a burrito. He then put an arm around her shoulders, eyeing a stranger with a stern look, "What's your problem?"

Chad was just about to pick up a towel when Molly snatched it away, wrapping it around her own shoulders and teasing, "Oh, who do we have here?"

Several men stepped forward, asking, "Who are you?" A girl chimed in, saying she didn't know them.

Leo locked eyes with one of the men and said, "What're you staring at? She's my girl."

The guy glanced at Anya, all wrapped up, and softly asked, "Do you know him?"

Leo let out a cold laugh, as if questioning his own identity was absurd. Without wasting time, he leaned down and planted a kiss on Anya's lips in front of everyone. Anya blushed, ducking under Leo's arm, and giggled, "Chad!" Leo asserted his claim, "I've been her hero since I was seven, back when you didn't even know which way was up."

Oh, so they did know each other.

The focus shifted to Molly, and Jade pointed at Officer Chad, saying, "I don't know him!"

Chad held Molly closer, resting a hand on her belly, feeling their soon-to-arrive baby, and asked, "You don't know me, even with our baby almost here?"

Molly, stubborn as ever, retorted, "I don't know you, call the cops."

Chad calmly pulled out his badge and handed it to her, "Go ahead, make the call."

Jade was baffled: Who carries their work ID everywhere? Is that even a thing?? Yet another couple's relationship was verified.

The spotlight then turned to Mia, who quickly shrugged off the hand resting on her shoulder and

questioned the man holding a child, "I don't know you either."

Andre, holding his son, asked, "Who am I?"

Henry replied, "Daddy!"

Andre pointed to his wife and son, "And who is she?"

"Mommy!" Henry chimed in again.

There was warmth in the air, but if Henry claimed he wasn't a smart cookie, even his own mom wouldn't believe him! With some awkwardness, the group dispersed, leaving the three women in towels, watching the three men. "So, the stalker finally decides to show up, huh?"

Ten minutes later, they were in the scenic restaurant on the third floor. The three women, now dressed, sat on the sofa, eyeing the three men across from them, and the little chubby bundle in Andre's arms.

Henry had finally been caught by his dad. After a day of playing hide and seek, he was snuggled up contentedly.

Mia spotted the little one and called out, "Henry! Come over here."

Father and son exchanged looks, and Andre's brow furrowed slightly: Henry? When did my son get a new last name?

Henry, serious as ever, stood in his

dad's arms, silently conveying with his adorable chubby face: Don't ask me, Dcan't talk, Mom changed it, ask her. novelbin

Andre was hesitant to confront his wife, well aware of her simmering anger.

Leo, filled with frustration, voiced his complaint, "Why drag Ms. Anya into our marital spat? What did I ever do to you?" Molly glared at her friend and nephew Leo, "Not telling us what you know is betrayal. As a friend, you're not being loyal!" Leo, fed up, slammed the table, "Loyalty? When you whisked Ms. Anya away, were you thinking about loyalty then?"
