Chapter 121 Scoundrel Should Be Used Here
Chapter 121 Scoundrel Should Be Used Here
Hayden’s face blushed red as she said, “I… I didn’t think that way.”
Joseph grinned and stared at her, “Really? It doesn’t appear that way.”
Hayden looked to be cautious and was obviously pondering about something. When she saw that he
was staring at her, she quickly lowered her head and looked at herself, hesitated and lowered her
hands, and asked, “Regardless of how I think, what your intentions for bringing me here are? I can
apologize for what happened just now but you must open the door and let me out.”
Joseph didn’t appear that he would budge. He simply turned and leaned onto the pillow at the edge of
the bathtub. He lowered his voice as he spoke across the steam, “I’m uninterested in empty apologies.”
Hayden became agitated, “What the hell do you want from me?”
“Come over.” The two simple words echoed in the bathroom. Hayden stood in place and didn’t move
but glared at Joseph’s back and said, “You… you must be kidding!” NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
“You can treat it as a joke if you waste your time here with me.”
“You…” She looked at Joseph’s back and almost wanted to push him into the water.
How can there be such a petty and shameless but yet accomplished man? She only cracked a simple
joke. Should he bear such a grudge and then seek revenge in such a manner? It was ridiculous.
After much hesitation, Hayden clenched her teeth and walked to the edge of the bathtub. She literally
used her nose to snub the words, “How do you want to be scrubbed?”
Joseph raised his head and looked at her, “Carefully.”
Isn’t that obvious? Hayden rolled her eyes and couldn’t be bothered to ask him. She took a small towel
to superficially scrub him under the water and thereafter scrubbed his shoulders.
“Done.”
Joseph avoided her eyes and brushed her hand and said, “You may leave.”
“What’s wrong with you?” Hayden frowned.
“Leave.” Joseph retracted his hand and frowned.
Hayden came to her senses and did not answer him. She held onto the bathtub and wanted to stand
up and leave. But she didn’t pay attention and as she turned, she stepped on some soap suds, slipped
and fell.
“Whoosh” and then Hayden’s scream echoed in the small room. She struggled in horror for a while and
gulped mouthfuls of water. She steadied herself and then coughed vigorously. When she opened her
eyes, she suddenly stopped coughing as the water continued to ripple over the bathtub and flooded the
bathroom.
