Chapter 646 Noah Looks for Theodore
Vera suddenly spoke up, "What's Molly's favorite food?" "Expensive stuff," Sebastian replied without hesitation.
Molly felt a bit embarrassed, though it was true.
Vera asked again, "Who's Molly's favorite athlete?"
Sebastian answered instantly, "Me, at the sports meet."
Vera looked at Molly, who bit her lip and nodded shyly, "That's somewhat true."
A group of people urged to open the door.
Theodore, in Patrick's arms, curiously wanted to join the fun, but Patrick, disdainful of such excitement, made Theodore so anxious that he almost wanted Randall to hold
him.
Inside the room, someone shouted, "Who will manage the finances after the wedding?"
Before Sebastian could speak, the team members chimed in, "Sebastian's paycheck has long been in Molly's hands."
Everyone looked at Molly, who sheepishly nodded, "Yes, it's always been with me."
Studious Susan, usually quiet, shocked everyone when she spoke, "What's Molly's favorite book?"
Upon hearing this, Randall, watching from outside, felt helpless. Molly's image was about to be ruined.noveldrama
Sebastian, outside the door, was silent for a few seconds, "The books she hides under the bed are her favorites."
What kind of books need to be hidden under the bed? Everyone turned to look at Molly.
Molly, in a burst of excitement, jumped up from the bed, catching the makeup artist off guard. Unable to contain herself, she rushed to the door and impulsively opened it, questioning Sebastian, "How do you know I hide books under the bed?"
Sebastian, looking at the suddenly approaching Molly, held his breath and said in a hoarse voice, "How I know isn't important; what's important is that the door is open."
With that, a group of men swarmed in, rushing into the room.
Molly was momentarily stunned, then dumbfounded.
Vera, seeing her temperamental Theodore from afar, went out to fetch him and re- entered the room. For the first time ever, Theodore showed unprecedented affection for his mom!
Holly said, "Even if they come in, it won't work. We've hidden Molly's shoes; she can't leave."
Sam scoffed, "Just wait, I'll find the shoes in three minutes."
Sebastian shouted directly, "The shoes are on top of the cabinet."
Everyone was stunned, "You were eavesdropping on us!"
Sebastian, knowing Molly well, said, "When Molly hides things, it's either in the highest place or the lowest place."
Sure enough, Sebastian, wearing dress shoes, stepped on the nightstand, gripping the edge of the cabinet with his strong arms, pulled himself up like doing a pull-up, grabbed the shoes, and jumped down.
Theodore was amazed, making excited noises.
The officiant was about to start speaking and recording the video, but Theodore was too vocal, so Vera took him outside, coincidentally around his feeding time.
At the appointed time, they headed to the wedding venue.
Sebastian carried Molly down the red carpet, surrounded by confetti, and they joyfully sat in the wedding car.
As they were about to depart, Randall called the driver out and took the driver's seat himself, fastening the seatbelt.
"Randall?" Sebastian was puzzled by his actions.
Molly's mind was flooded with childhood memories. She smiled, her eyes glistening, and said, "Sebastian, let Randall drive me to the wedding."
Back in middle school, at the back playground.
The childish Randall had promised Molly and Vera, "When you get married, I'll be your driver and take you to your wedding. It will be grand!"
Back then, the three of them sat carefree on the playground, chatting and laughing in the gentle breeze.
Vera had a brother, Molly had a brother, and Randall had no relation to them, but they were very important to him. Without a proper role, Randall chose to be their driver to fulfill his promise.
After all these years, Randall still remembered his promise.
"Randall, you promised it would be grand," Molly's words brought back their memories.
For Sebastian's wedding, it didn't matter who the driver was, as long as they could drive.
Since Theodore hadn't had enough milk, by the time they left, the wedding car was gone, leaving only Patrick, Vera, and Theodore.
Patrick drove, letting Theodore drink milk on the way.
Through the rearview mirror, Patrick saw Theodore sucking on the bottle and said, "Don't let him drink too much; it'll stretch his stomach."
Vera replied, "Theodore has such a big appetite, what can we do? It even hurts when he sucks."
Theodore kicked his little legs, happily continuing to drink milk.
The car was quiet, with only the sound of Theodore drinking milk.
Patrick glanced at Theodore through the rearview mirror, feeling that Theodore was being pampered too much.
At the wedding venue, everyone finally saw Molly's wedding setup. Last time, it was just a frame, but now it was adorned with flowers, with dedicated staff maintaining them, and morning dew sprayed on them to ensure they were vibrant on the wedding day.
The banquet hall was already crowded. When Patrick arrived with Theodore, four people stood up and walked towards him. "Molly's getting married, and you look like a guest. We've all been here, but you're the last to arrive," Scott complained as he walked.
Patrick, holding Theodore's back, said, "It's not easy for a dad to go out. Crying one moment, fussing the next, and if he's not full, he needs to be fed in the car." Despite his words, Patrick smiled as he shared the challenges of fatherhood with his friends. Theodore quietly listened to Patrick complain about how hard he was to take care of. Seeing Patrick chatting with his friends, Vera walked over, intending to take Theodore. The hall was crowded, and they were struggling to manage.
"Honey, give me the baby, you guys go chat."
"No, Patrick can go, but Theodore stays," Scott said.
Scott stepped forward, took the world's most difficult baby, Theodore, from Patrick's arms, and immediately ignored Patrick, turning to study Theodore with his friends. "I'm telling you, Theodore really can't sit still. Last time I saw him, he couldn't even roll over properly."
Ian said, "Put him on the couch, let's see."
Strangely, Theodore, after being fed, didn't cry or fuss when these unfamiliar men held him, letting them carry him away.
Patrick smiled, turned to greet acquaintances, and no longer paid attention to Theodore.
Soon, Noah, Warren, and Brianna also arrived.
While the adults were talking, Noah wandered around, looking for Theodore.
Passing by a group of men, Noah glanced at Theodore on the couch, paused, and was about to leave when he stopped, turned back, and looked at Theodore again.
Not quite sure, Noah took out his phone to compare Theodore's face with the one in the group chat, confirming if it was him.
Theodore, playing happily, suddenly saw Noah and made a sound.
What do you think?
