Yvonne's smirk slowly faded as she stepped toward Joanna, her eyes darkening.

"Because Cadoc likes you," she said simply. "I chose Cadoc. I won't allow him to like any other woman. Since childhood, anything I set my sights on-no one else is allowed to touch it!"

Joanna shook her head bitterly. "Cadoc? He's nothing but a repulsive lump of fat to me. Just the sight of

him disgusts me. If you want him, take him. What does that have to do with me?"

Yvonne's expression turned even colder. "It doesn't matter. He likes you, and that alone is unacceptable. Since he desires you, I'll destroy you."

"You? Destroy me?" Yvonne scoffed. "A pathetic nobody like you dares to threaten me?"

Her expression twisted with malice, and she raised her hand to slap Joanna.

Joanna shuddered, then turned to Yvonne, who had collapsed onto the floor. With a heavy sigh, she murmured, "Was all this really necessary?"

"Look closely," he said with a smirk. "I am the eldest son of the Quintana family. The man who hit you? He's the eldest son of the Cunningham family. This lady here is the daughter of the Vice Minister of Investigation Division 7. And this one? She's the granddaughter of the legendary General Wright. And over there? That's the eldest daughter of the Westeria family, and that's Mr. Chandler from the Chandler family."
