Chapter 2015
"No."
The girl, Lizzie, shook her head stubbornly. "I will repay you because you saved me, even if it upsets you."
"Fine! If you say so!"
Tidus had had enough and strode up to grab her by the collar, pulling her close as he growled through her teeth, "Then you will repay me with your body!"
"What?! No..."
Lizzie was clearly startled, her eyes widening in panic.
However, Tidus was ready to do it as he snorted. "Hmph! You see now? I'm just that despicable, but you insist on coming so close! Well, have it your way!"
Lizzie was flustered at first, but she then bit her lip as if resolving herself.
Then, gingerly looking Tidus in the eye, she murmured, "I-If that's what you want... I'm scared, but it's okay."
Tidus paused as their eyes met, and he soon pushed her away and turned aside, cursing, "Fuck!"
"Pfft..."
With even Frank unable to stop a snicker, everyone else laughed out loud.
Tidus wheeled on them, at once grumpy. "Could you stop?! I'll pay you a mil if you get rid of her! How about that!"
"I think she's a good kid, Tidus." Frank chuckled as he egged him on. "Why don't you just... Uh-huh?"NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
Winter was smiling too. "Exactly. Haven't you always been single?"
"Hold on..."
Tidus was drawing a blank, pointing at himself and an embarrassed Lizzie as he asked everyone, "Do you see any resemblance here? Are you kidding me? A bumpkin like her?"
Suddenly, Lizzie hung her head and murmured, "My grandmother's dead."
Tidus could snap right then. "And

Nheless, Lizzie kept her head down, murmuring, "I've been an orphan since I was a child, and my grandmother raised me....." "Urgh..."
Tidus was left pausing.
He wanted to speak, but the words just were not coming out, so he could only turn and sigh.
Lizzie then continued, "I was ready to die the night I met Tidus because I have no family or attachments to this world."
Tidus was shocked. "Die? No way!"
"Shut up!" Frank snapped at Tidus right then, while Winter put a finger to her lips at him too.
Seeing that, Lizzie continued, "Tidus is right. I'm a bumpkin-I have nothing, and I owe a lot of money.
"Every day, the loan sharks would keep demanding I pay up. I really had enough and had to choose to sell my body. But Tidus..."
Lizzie smiled as she looked up at Tidus, wiping her tears. "He chased them away. That's why I thought that I must repay him even if I die, but he kept hiding from me, so I didn't have the chance."
Taking the Junchbox out of her bag, she put it on the table and smiled
"There's not much I can do except to cook for you. Thank you for saving me."

"What..."
Tidus was left dumbstruck.
"See you, Tidus."
Lizzie then said, "You have to try my cooking. I may be a bumpkin, but I am at least confident in my cooking."
