Chapter 2194
Jouri shook her head. "I'm sorry, but that's all I know. You'd have to ask someone else for more details."
And with those words, Jouri got up and strode off, leaving Frank utterly exasperated.
To think that he had so easily fallen for Jouri's trick despite all his sharp wit.
Still, it was understandable. Jouri actually seemed like she had nothing to do in the grand scheme of things, so Frank really had to do his own investigating.
Even as Frank pondered, Sally York strode in right after Jouri left.
She was not alone, as Sylvie Wal, Alda Ingram, Ida Cahn, Sadie Godot, and her brother Rain Godot entered after her.
Sally then said, "I heard you bought this place, handsome. I guess everyone can move here too, make it your new base."
Frank frowned. "And how did you find out?"
Sally grinned smugly. "Who do you think I am? Would I not be aware of anything happening in this world? Moreover, it works for everyone if they stay here, so just hear me out for once-stay put instead of getting your nose burned because you're sticking it into everything else!"
Frank snorted and wheeled on Ida. "And you let her talk you into this?
Ida could cry right then. "She's not some plain Jane, master. You can push her around, but not me."
Frank turned away and sighed. "Fine. In that case, everyone can stay—let Meg arrange your rooms."
Sally clapped and sat beside Frank, pouring herself and Frank a full glass of wine each, smiling. "Here's to celebrate you moving houses. Drink up!" With that, she chugged her drink without caring if Frank drank, leaving Frank rolling his eyes. "Don't let me catch you being up to your usual tricks, or I'll make you pay."
Sally promptly nodded. "I'd never dare I mean, don't you see how amazing you are? Don't worry either, I've done nothing to wrong you on this... or maybe I should just say that this isn't any of my business."
Then, pouring herself a full glass again and chugging it, she got and
, "Enjoy yourself, handset
I'm going now."
Frank's glare was icy as he watched Sally leave, leaving Ida petrified.
She had never seen those eyes, not even back when they fought him-Sally had really gotten on his nerves somehow!
And yet, why was she so persistent on counting death? They had all seen Frank's strength, and on more than one occasion. To challenge him was basically suicide!
Half an hour later, Meg had gathered Golden Lily's staff at the lobby.
The waiters, the bouncers, the receptionists, and even the guest relation officers were all standing in front of Frank.
She smiled as she said, "I'm sure I don't have to introduce this
gentleman Mr. Frankton is a man who must never be crossed, and
he's helped save us from major
troubles on more than a few
occasions now. On top of that, he's now our boss, so can I ask everyone to do their best in order for Golden Lily to rise to new heights?"
"Yes, ma'am!" everyone promptly answered, more than motivated.
Meg certainly did not need to introduce Frank, as they were now dead certain that he was more impressive than Pax Jaric.
With someone like him taking

ownership, there would not be more troublemakers-their salary would surely rise to new heights too
"There's nothing to worry about. I personally dislike maintaining a pecking order, so address me however you like." Everyone nodded the more Frank respected them, the more they believed they had a future to look forward to. Luck was really underselling it—they had never imagined that they would befriend a bigwig of Frank's caliber!
What do you think?
