The Man in Power After Being Married into Her Family

Yahiko and Hiroshi jogged in Central Park for nearly half an hour, but they still hadn't had enough of running.

What's more, Rosalie's mother, Yashita, would also land in New York in a little more than an hour, so at this time, all of her thoughts were already focused on her mother.

At the dinner table, Yahiko sat on Charlie's right side, and Nanako sat on Charlie's left. Emi and Hiroshi sat opposite them, and the atmosphere was relatively relaxed as there were only five of them.

Yahiko personally filled up wine glasses for Charlie and himself before getting up with Hiroshi and saying respectfully to Charlie, "Mr. Wade, please give Hiroshi and me a chance to offer a toast to you!"

Charlie nodded slightly, picked up the wine glass, and said calmly, "Mr. Ito, I wish you a happy fiftieth birthday with this glass of wine."

Yahiko was flattered and said, "Thank you, Mr. Wade! This is truly the most memorable birthday that I have had in years, and everything is all thanks to your generosity!"

With that said, he was a little ashamed as he said, "Mr. Wade, I was still very reluctant when you asked me to make a wish earlier. Now, it seems like I really did

not know any better at all! Please do not hold it against me."

Charlie said politely, "Mr. Ito, you're overthinking. Most people would not believe such a thing as the regeneration of a broken limb. It's only natural for you to react like that and not have any hope in this matter. I understand and with not hold anything against you.

With that said, Charlie pointed at the wine glass and said with a smile, "A lot of courteous words have been exchanged, so from now on, let this banquet return to

its original theme of celebrating Mr. Ito's birthday. I'll drink to that first as a sign of respect."

When Yahiko saw that Charlie intended to divert the topic away from the Regenerating Pill, he also said very sensibly, "Thank you for your blessing, Mr. Wade. I'll drink too, then!"
