Chapter 133
Chapter 133
Did he guess it? Or did Yvonne sell him out?
Greg stumbled back two steps.
After steadying himself, he grinned, pretending to be clueless. “Nephew, what do you mean by that? Uncle doesn’t understand.”
Edgar had a cold expression and didn’t fall for his act at all.
Seeing him remain silent, Greg discreetly glanced at the bodyguards behind Grace. They all had grim faces, looking fierce as if they were about to devour someone.
Worried that his family might be affected, he turned his head and signaled Hailey with his eyes. “Joyce hasn’t freshened up yet. Hurry and take her upstairs to wash. We can’t afford to lose decorum in front of esteemed guests.
“Okay,” Hailey understood and turned to pull her precious daughter. “Joyce, let’s go.”
Before they could climb the stairs, Grace’s four bodyguards swiftly blocked their path. Eleven and Twelve blocked the staircase, while Fifteen and Seventeen guarded the entrance.
“What… What are you doing? You’re being too arrogant! This is my house,” Greg exclaimed, his face turning red with anger.
Joyce felt a bit scared and hid in Hailey’s embrace.
“If we don’t clarify things today, no one will be able to leave,” Grace smiled, lifted the tea cup from the table, and took a sip.
She remained calm and aloof, leaving the Fallen family confused. NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.
Greg sighed, his expression slightly complex, before speaking. “Actually, it’s not like that. When I learned that my younger sister was working as a servant in the old residence, I went to visit her. I didn’t know where she got those two packets of medicine from. She told me about her plan and asked for my help, but I didn’t agree. I even tried to dissuade her…”
He paused, as if realizing something. “Judging from this situation, did she really succeed?” “And you. former niece–in–law, did anything happen to you? I heard that medicine is quite potent. It’s all my fault. I should have tried to persuade her again,” he sighed, filled with regret.
With these two statements, not only did he clear himself of the matter, but he also strengthened the family relationship on both sides.
Grace furrowed her brows slightly. “In the future, please address me as General Manager Grace or Miss Grace according to the company hierarchy. Hearing the phrase ‘former niece–in–law‘ makes me
sick.”
After she finished speaking, she looked at Edgar standing beside her with a teasing look in her eyes. “He said it was Yvonne who actively asked him for it, but Yvonne said he instigated it. Whom do you think I should believe?”
Edgar stared sternly at Greg and sneered, “Uncle, blaming everything on a woman when things go wrong isn’t very manly of you.”
Edgar agreed with her.
Greg’s face flushed, and he pointed at Edgar, cursing, “You’re just Grace’s servant now. The master speaks, and you have no right to interrupt. Go away.”
The speed at which he changed his tune was truly impressive, Grace detested these cunning–old-

foxes who could say one thing to someone’s face and another behind their back..
Not interested in listening to his nonsense, she waved her hand, and Eleven placed a square, exquisite black and gold gift box on the coffee table.
“What is this?” Greg looked bewildered.
Grace smiled lightly, curling her lips. “This is a small gift I brought today for the Fallen Family Mansion. Second Young Master Fallen, why don’t you open it and see?”
Greg didn’t respond. Although he couldn’t understand what she was up to, he felt a hint of ill intentions behind her smile.
Hailey, on the other hand, heard that it was a gift and smiled politely. “Miss Grace, it’s such a kind. gesture for you to bring a gift. Thank you so much.”
She walked over and saw the beautifully crafted black and gold box on the coffee table, and assume that the contents inside would be of high quality.
Curiosity piqued, she opened the box, but what she saw inside left her dumbfounded. There were thirty small bottles, each about half the size of a fist, arranged neatly and in perfect order. She randomly picked one and opened it, finding transparent liquid inside with a strange odor.
“What… What is this?”
Eleven answered, “These are carefully prepared by Miss for the Fallen Family Mansion. Each person should drink one bottle daily.”
Greg couldn’t understand what game Grace was playing. He approached and smelled it, his face changing drastically. He quickly took the bottle from Hailey’s hand and put the lid back on.
“Are all of these M drugs?”
Grace supported her chin with her hand and smiled radiantly.
“Not all of them. Besides the ones that can’t kill people, there are also laxatives, itching powders, and such. Among the thirty bottles, five of them are filled with syrup. The chances of getting syrup are much higher than winning the lottery, don’t you think?”
“You… you…”
Greg and his wife were shocked by her words, unable to say anything for a while.
Joyce understood and became terrified. “Dad, I don’t want to drink it! I don’t want to drink this kind
of stuff…”
The family huddled together, trembling.
“You’re going too far! Even if you don’t consider our past family ties, this has nothing to do with me.
I…”
Grace raised her hand to interrupt Greg’s sophistry. “You know the truth, and I know it too. Besides, this isn’t solely because of this matter.”
Greg was puzzled. “What did I do to offend you?”
“You used to help Yvonne sabotage me in front of Grandfather. I haven’t forgotten, and I don’t think you have either. Along with the incident of you slapping Edgar, and now the M–drug, it’s fair to hold you
accountable for all three crimes,” she replied.
Standing nearby, Edgar keenly heard that statement, and his heart suddenly felt a touch of
sweetness. She still remembered how Greg had hit him and even stood up for him. Did this mean she still cared for him in her heart?
Greg also noticed that particular remark. “Edgar is the offspring of our Fallen family. As an elder.
what’s wrong with me giving him a slap? It’s outrageous of you to include that in your accusations.”
Grace responded, “He is my servant, and only my people can discipline him. The Fallen family members are not allowed to.”
Only my people, not just me…
Patric was also included in that category. Edgar’s happiness instantly diminished.
Greg was speechless. But to expect him to drink a bottle of medicine like a lottery every day was worse than killing him directly.
“Regardless, I will never admit to what you said, nor will I ever drink any of those,” he firmly stated.
Grace chuckled upon hearing this.
“I didn’t come here today to negotiate with you,” she said, casting a glance at Eleven.
Eleven immediately placed a stack of photocopies in front of the three individuals. “Take a look. Here we have Madame Fallen’s confession, evidence of your involvement in purchasing M–drugs on the
black market, and a timeline of the entire incident. Now, you have two options: either go to court with JC and face charges, or accept Miss’s gift.”
The three individuals‘ faces turned pale.
Greg was shocked and couldn’t utter a word. In such a short time, this woman had completely exposed everything about him?
He had paid for his silence on the black market!
Hailey pleaded, “Husband, you can’t go to jail! You’re the pillar of our family. If you fall, what will happen to me and Joyce?”
Joyce added, “Yes, Dad, you can’t go to prison! Once you have a criminal record, how can I hold my head up in front of those socialite friends? No elite young man from a prestigious family would be willing to marry me. I’ll end up unmarried, Dad!”
Greg found himself torn between two choices, his eyes welling up with tears as he looked at his wife and daughter. “But it’s also distressing for me to see you drink that torturous stuff every day, my heart aches too!”
Hailey and Joyce exchanged glances. “Why should we drink it? It’s your fault, so can’t you just pick three bottles at once?”
Greg: “???”
