Chapter 21
Chapter 21
From the distance, a discordant voice suddenly rang out.
It disturbed them in their ambiguous postures.
Patric stepped forward gloomily, forcefully pulled them apart, and swiftly swung his fist at Edgar’s face.
Edgar couldn’t dodge in time. He groaned in pain and was forced to take two steps back from Patric’s punch.
Pursing his lips, he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.
Patric shielded Grace behind him. When she saw that Edgar had been hit, a hint of worry flashed through her eyes. Looking joyful, she held herself back from applauding.
Since Edgar dared to bully her, it was right for Patric to punch him!
Edgar should be tortured to death!
“I heard that you found a new girlfriend, Mr. Fallen, and you are still pestering your ex-wife. Isn’t that inappropriate?” Patric chuckled and looked as gentle and noble as ever, as if he wasn’t the one who had just punched Edgar.
Edgar raised his eyes and stared back. Even though his face was injured, he was not inferior to Patric at all.
He said, “After all, she used to be my ex-wife. What right do you have to protect her, Mr.
Smith?”
He deliberately emphasized that Grace was his ex-wife. He was like a proud male lion that refused to yield an inch in the face of an enemy that coveted its prey.
Patric thought, “Because I’m her brother!”
Patric gradually stopped smiling, looking indifferent.
However, before he could say anything, Grace tightened her grip on his arm.
Snorting, Patric said, “Mr. Fallen, you’re really interesting. Grace is an independent person. She has the right to choose who she likes. What right do you have to take her as your own possession?”
Their eyes met. Their auras were well matched. Neither of them gave in.
Hostility permeated the air. They wanted to kill each other, but there was no winner after several rounds.
In the whole garage, they were like each other’s core enemies.
Grace felt that she was almost suffocated by the hostility. After a whole day of work, she was exhausted. She just wanted to end this da m n mess as soon as possible.
Coughing heavily, she said, “It’s getting late. Tomorrow is a work day. Mr. Fallen, Mr. Smith, you can leave now.”
Seeing that she was about to leave, Edgar took two steps forward and tried to stop her.

But Patric took a step forward and stopped him. Looking gloomy and ferocious, he was warning him.
After all, Edgar was at Patric’s company, so he couldn’t be too arrogant in front of him. Looking at Grace with a smile, he said, “You haven’t eaten dinner yet, have you? Why don’t we eat together tonight and have a good chat?”
Grace didn’t even bother to think about it.
“No, I’m not hungry. No talking!”
Edgar was gloomy, but Patric burst into laughter.
Grace spoke so straightforwardly!
As if he had won a round, Patric looked at Edgar provocatively and asked Grace, “Girl, it’s getting dark. Shall I send you back?”
Grace turned her head and saw the two men looking at each other hostilely again.
She was speechless, thinking, “They are doing it again.”.
She sincerely hoped that they could be out of her sight at the same time so that she could have peace of mind.
She sighed wearily, saying, “There’s no need. I want to familiarize myself with the route.”
After that, she quickly got in the Santana and slipped away.
Meanwhile, the two men in the garage were looking at each other in dismay.
Given that Grace didn’t agree to Patric’s invitation, Edgar felt that he had won. Smiling meaningfully, he said, “It seems that you don’t know much about my ex-wife, Mr. Smith.”
Patric looked at him flatly, saying, “I grew up with her, and I’m more familiar with her than
you.”
When Edgar heard this, his face changed slightly.
Seeing this, Patric felt extremely happy and said, “Mr. Fallen, please keep your eyes on the person in front of you. Don’t think about someone you’ve lost and can never get again.”
After that, he walked briskly upstairs with Alex.
Fortunately, Patric had seen what had happened from the surveillance camera early this time. He immediately ordered his staff to block off the garage at the lowest level and prevent any employees from going down. Otherwise, Grace would get into trouble again. In the garage, Edgar stood upright. Because of the dim light, his face was covered with a layer of darkness. No one knew what he was thinking.
Looking at Edgar from a distance, Tim became more and more unhappy.
He thought, “Mr. Fallen is actually going to go up against Patric for Grace. Doesn’t he notice that he actually cares about Grace very much?
“But is that fair to Miss Mellis?
“Miss Mellis is such a good girl. Old Mr. Fallen drove her abroad for the sake of Mr. Fallen. She has suffered a lot all these years. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Moreover, Mr. Fallen said that he would marry Miss Mellis and take good care of her. It makes me really sad to see him ignore her like this.”
As Tim thought angrily, he secretly sent a text message to Nancy reluctantly, briefly telling her what had happened today.
He hoped that Nancy could win back Edgar’s heart when she saw his text!
“Tim, let’s go!”
Edgar seemed to have thought of something. After shouting, he quickly got into the car and waited for Tim to drive.
Tim stopped thinking and trotted to the driver’s seat.
Grace was lost.
She didn’t know what was going on with this dam n e d navigation system. It kept showing that the signal was weak. She happened to be driving on the most complicated forked road in Frant City, so she was led into a ditch.
She had circled twice on the same route.
She inadvertently saw a familiar car behind her. Abruptly, she found that the car had been following her.
Looking in the rearview mirror, she found that the license plate number was familiar.
She thought, “Is it Edgar’s car?
“Why is he still following me?” She was furious.
She couldn’t wait to get out of the car, pull him out, beat him up, and kick him somewhere
remote.
But she was just thinking about it. What had happened in the garage just now made her clearly aware that Edgar was obviously more powerful than she was.
Since she couldn’t win, she’d better run!
She sped up, intending to drive on a more complicated route to get rid of Edgar.
In the car behind, Tim asked, “Boss, our people have messed with Miss Salen’s navigation, but she obviously spotted us and isn’t following the route we planned for her. She wants to get rid of us.”
Staring fixedly at the green Santana in front of him, Edgar felt a surge of anger in his heart. How arrogant and high-profile she was after she had cuc k o l d e d him!
This time, without Patric’s obstruction, he had to do it.
If he didn’t teach her a lesson and let her know the consequences of offending him, he wouldn’t live up to his reputation.
“Speed up. Find an opportunity to pass her and force her to stop the car lest she crash.”
“Yes.”
The two cars sped along the highway.

However, how could Grace’s Santana be a match for Edgar’s Lamborghini Hurricane? The speed of the two cars was not on the same level at all.
It seemed that Edgar’s car was speeding up and was about to overtake hers.
Gritting her teeth, Grace focused on observing the road in front of her. She saw an intersection with traffic lights not far ahead.
Pursing her lips slyly, she came up with a plan.
When she was only one meter away from the intersection, she turned the steering wheel sharply, drove to the special road on the left, and took advantage of the last second of the yellow light before speeding up and rushing over.
By the time Edgar realized her intentions, the light had already turned red.
In the rear-view mirror, she saw that Edgar was forced to stop and that the Lamborghini was getting farther and farther away from her. She felt so good!
She thought, “Does he want to challenge my driving skills?
“He is still too young!”
While she was feeling happy, two black cars suddenly appeared at an intersection on both sides. They seemed to be trying to force her to stop.
She thought, “Someone else is targeting me?”
