The Odd Billionaire

CHAPTER 20

Traizle

I never saw him riding in his car, except when he accompanied me to the hospital before. He is also walking when he is visiting us.

“Yes, why?” He answered.

“I never saw you with your car.” I replied.

“It’s because I am always eating sweets and I needed to burn them by walking. Why? Do you want to ride in my car?” He asked.

“No. I prepared to walk too,” I told him. “It is just I am wondering why you are happy while walking. Usually, billionaires like you never walk outside like this.” I added.

“I will just use my car if it is far or important, as long as it is near and I can walk.” he explained.

If it is important?

I am touched by his words. No one ever did that to me, aside from those two, of course. He used his car because I was important that day. The hospital is nearby, but he still used it? Woah. I appreciated his effort.

“Thank you.” I told him.

He looked at me, confused.

“Huh? Welcome?” He answered, not sure of his answer. “Did I do something nice or good?” He asked.

Should I tell him?

If I decide to tell him, I am sure that he will make fun of me.

“Why? Tell me, what did I do to make you say thank you and smile at me sweetly?” He asked again, forcing me to tell him.

“I appreciate what you did to me last time.” I answered.

I decided to share with him the reason behind my being thankful.

“What? When? Tell me already, I am curious!” He asked again, swaying my hands back and forth.

“Remember when I injured my hips? You helped me that time to go to the hospital. You even called for your car, even if it was near. I appreciated that one. No one ever did that to me. It’s an odd feeling, you know. Even though I was not good to you then, until now.” I replied, stating the facts.

“That’s the reason why you smiled at me so sweetly? I should do that often, go injure yourself. I love to see your sweet smile!” Zarsuelo responded.

I don’t know if I should be happy or not with his answer.

“Welcome!” Zarsuelo said after hugging me quickly.

“The next time you hug me without my permission, I will break your hands.” I warned him.

“Why? Will you let me hug you if I asked you for one?” He asked back.

“Of course not.” I answered.

I am not that crazy to let him.

“Why would I ask if you will not let me in the first place? I prefer you to break my hands than not be able to hug you,” Zarsuelo retorted. “Although you complimented others more than me, I will let it pass because you smiled at me sweetly. It feels like I ate sweets today even though I did not.” he added.

He did not really take any sweets after that morning.

After a long walk, we are now in front of our gate. Before opening the gate, I look at Zarsuelo, who is eager to get inside.

“What?” Said Zarsuelo when I was blocking him.

“Don’t say anything to Zac, especially bad things. Don’t dare to threaten him, understand?” I warned him.

“Okay, I won’t.” he answered, so I let him enter the gate and followed him as well.

“Traizle!” Layzen exclaimed before giving me a hug.

“You are here,” Zac said while standing up. “Layzen is hungry already, so I cooked rice.” he added.

“Thank you, and please accept my apologies,” I replied, setting my belongings on the table. “How’s babysitting him?” I asked him.

“He is too mature for his age,” Zac said, laughing. “But he is still four years old when it comes to playing.” he added.

“How about the data gathering?” I asked again.

“It’s doing good.” Zac answered.

“You should stay for dinner.” I told him.

“What?” Zarsuelo commented.

I glared at him. Telling him to shut his mouth up.

“No, it’s okay. I am fine and the rice I cooked won’t be enough for us.” Zac answered, turning down my invitation.

“You sure?” I asked.

“Yes, I still need to draw. So, I’d better get going.” he replied.

“Okay, you should go home. Thank you for today. See you tomorrow. Layzen, say bye to Zac.” I said.

“See you tomorrow, Zac!” Layzen said after hugging Zac’s legs.

“See you.” Zac responded, ruffling Layzen’s hair before leaving.

“See you tomorrow,” Zarsuelo said, mimicking my tone of voice. “You have never told me that one either.” he added, complaining again.

“I thought we agreed that you would never say anything bad about him.” I asked him.

“I can’t help it,” he answered, shrugging. “Go and change your clothes now.” he added.

He thought, I will be wearing shorts again. Huh! In his dreams!

I went out of the comfort room and saw Zarsuelo was disappointed in my shorts.

Well, I used Lyndon’s jersey short. I won’t use it again with him in our house.

“Why?!” He asked angrily. “That’s not yours.” he added.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

“Is it my bad day today?” He asked himself again. “Why is the day not favoring me, unfair.” he muttered, complaining.

“Is he talking to himself, Traizle?” Layzen asked me.

“Yes, he is. Don’t mind him, I will cook our food for now. Are you really hungry?” I asked Layzen.

“I can wait. Make it delicious again.” Layzen replied.

“Okay!” I answered, walking to the kitchen.

“Layzen, is he more fun than me? Don’t you like me anymore?” I heard Zarsuelo asking Layzen.

“I like you both, so don’t worry.” Layzen answered him.

“Then why is Traizle not wearing her shorts again? I am expecting her to wear it tonight.” Zarsuelo asked again.

“Because you are expecting it, you shouldn’t wish for it. They said the more you are expecting it, the more it will make you disappointed.” Layzen answered, giving him advice.

“The sexy wife I am imagining is nowhere to be found-ah! Why! I am just telling the truth!” Zarsuelo complained when I threw the plastic cups at him.

Sexy wife his a*s!
