Freya couldn't help but laugh, slowly raising her hand to touch Nathaniel's charming face.

In their relationship since Freya was released from prison, Nathaniel has always taken the lead in expressing his love for her.

When Freya first started to softly tickle him, Nathaniel thought his breathing was out of control.

Freya stood up, bent over, and planted a kiss on Nathaniel's lips.

Eventually, Nathaniel's eyes turned searing, and he reached up to grab her by the neck, engulfing her in his arms.

He even had a gruff voice and slightly gritted teeth. "You and I will always be inseparable in our lives."

"I'll be content if you don't trouble me in the future!"

With a small laugh, Freya said, "That's not necessarily. Maybe I'll let you fight with your brother and drive them away one day. Do you feel scared?"

With an abrupt stop of speech, Nathaniel grabbed her up and hurled her onto the bed.

Freya's low cries came and went into the endless night, and the night was very long.

Freya woke up a bit later than usual the following morning, and she couldn't help but feel regret for provoking Nathaniel.

He got revenge on her in bed last night, and she now appeared to have been crushed by a boulder all over her body, twitching in pain.

When Freya came downstairs to go to dinner, she discovered that there were more guests in the living room.

Nathaniel hadn't gone to work yet. He was conversing with a few underlings while seated in the living room.

A tall young woman wearing a black dress was at the front among them.

She was gorgeous, the kind of stunning beauty that exuded style and sophistication.

Her nasal bridge was high, her complexion was extremely white and she had the impression of being mixed-race. Freya's brows furrowed at the sight of her staring at Nathaniel.

Everybody understood what that look meant because they were all women.

If Abigail's prior glance at him was that of intensely worshipful aggression, this woman stared at Nathaniel with apparent admiration.

However, her profound concealment made her appear more like a friend in Nathaniel's life.

The woman's eyes landed on Freya's neckline as she noticed Freya descending the stairs.

She was unaware of the outsiders when she hurried to get up.

The delicate collar bone was seen due to the little opening in the neckline. At a glimpse, the clavicle's hickey might make people's hearts race. The woman's stare made Freya feel a little uncomfortable, so she straightened her attire and asked Nathaniel, "Darling, have you eaten yet?" "You can eat first; I will arrange some work first," Nathaniel said with a smile.

Then he rose and went to the study room on the first floor's east side, followed by a few others.

There was a pause in the footsteps beneath Freya's feet as he continued to keep some aspects of his world off her, like never discussing work in front of her.

It made no difference!

She shrugged and went to sit in the dining room, not wanting to know.

Now, Ms. Lovett was growing to like Freya. The cuisine that she prepared every day was only appreciated by Freya.

The other people didn't give a damn about how the meal was prepared; while Ms. Freya would always talk to her about the stages involved in making meals.

Koen, leaning to one side, looked at Hudson, and he was surprised to see that Hudson had brought Luna back. Luna lived with them while they were homeless. Everyone was aware of Luna's affection for Mr. Nathaniel.
