Chapter 1952
“That’s enough! The boss isn’t back yet.
Why are you being so rude to Miss Moore?” Conor interrupted, entering the room.
“Didn’t the boss tell you to go to the horse ranch? What are you still doing here?”
Conor scolded Rodrigo, who didn’t dare to argue and glared at Hannah before leaving.
As Conor sat down, the servants brought in fruits and drinks.
“Miss Moore, do you have an appointment with our boss today?” he asked.
Without answering, Hannah picked up a can of Coke, savoring the cool taste.
Conor peeled an apple, observing her.
“Miss Moore, why are you here?” he asked.
“You’re not aware?” Hannah looked at him.
“You’re Remington’s spy in the Compton family.
Do you want me to ask why you’re back here?”
Conor narrowed his eyes.
“Miss Moore, you’re being too serious.

“I don’t think I’m serious enough.

Conor finished peeling the apple and put down the knife.
“Your priority should be protecting the Compton family, not coming to see our boss.
”
Hannah smiled.
“Are you trying to tell me how to behave?”
“What are you talking about?” Peterson returned from upstairs, grinning.
“I called my brother.
He said we should have dinner together tonight and discuss things then.
”
Turning to Conor, Peterson asked, “Do you have anything else to do?”
Conor’s expression changed.
He placed the peeled apple on the table, stood, and bowed to Peterson.

Peterson interrupted, “I just spoke to my brother.
He told me to show Hannah around.
Don’t you listen to him?”

”
Peterson looked at Hannah and suggested, “Hannah, shall we go?”
“Okay,” she replied.
Hannah rose and walked out of the villa with Peterson.
Conor watched them leave, his gaze heavy.
As they strolled, Peterson inquired, “Hannah, what brings you here today?”
