The unwanted wife’s unexpected comeback

Chapter 34

Chapter 34:

? ? ? ? ?

Alice closed her eyes as tears fell down her face.

"Forks. Am I really that stupid?” she whispered.

“Yes, extremely stupid,” Caden replied flatly.

Alice struggled to form her words. “You must think I'm jealous of Lilliana, don't you?”

Caden probably assumed she wanted that expensive diamond ring. But that wasn't it at all.

What truly destroyed Alicia was seeing Joshua's hands.

The year his parents died in the plane crash, their bodies were trapped under the wreckage. Joshua risked a second explosion and spent three days and nights digging through the rubble. When he recovered their remains, his hands were so damaged they were almost unrecognizable.

If it hadn't been for Joshua's betrayal, Alice would never have realized how convincing pretending could be. After shedding her tears, she felt the weight on her heart lighten.

But now, his thoughts were cloudier than ever. She leaned on Caden's shoulder, resting her head on his neck.

Caden assumed she was about to cry again and didn't react until he noticed her steady breathing. Was she asleep? Feeling annoyed, I muttered, “Alice?”NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

I have called her name a few more times before she stirred, as if awakening from a deep sleep. His voice grew colder. “Let me go. “I have to go.” He had done more than enough to help her, but being used as her pillow was going too far.

Caden pulled her roughly, but Alicia responded by wrapping her arms around his neck. She then opened her eyes, frowning at him.

He stared at her face, noting how almost perfect it was.

His vision blurred and he felt like he was in a dream.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her in a low voice.

“Have you lost your mind?” Caden asked, his tone high-pitched. After all, she was the one crying.

Alice paused for a moment and gently stroked her face. She carefully wiped the tears from his cheeks and then wiped his nose.

Caden let her continue without reacting, staying still while she worked.

He shook his head slightly, but his face remained expressionless, showing no trace of what he was thinking.

Alice stopped moving and studied his face closely. Her eyes followed the shape of her eyebrows, then her nose, and finally her lips.

I didn't understand what she had led her to do what she did.

But he followed his impulses.

When their lips met, Alice closed her eyes and gave herself over to her feelings. She shivered as he parted her lips and pushed forward.

Caden watched her closely and tilted his head. “Do you realize what you're doing?” Alicia didn't answer.

She continued kissing him.

Caden responded, taking control without hesitation. The kiss became wilder, almost aggressive. Alicia's breathing hitched and her mind became a blur of confusion.

The heat within him emerged, overwhelming her. They remained locked in the kiss until the room suddenly lit up.

The power was back on.

Caden grabbed her head and pulled away from her lips.

Just as I had expected, Alice's eyes were unfocused.

Her gaze was lost and her lips were slightly parted. Her labored breathing made her look fragile. It was as if anyone could overpower her.

Caden laughed at her and asked, “Alicia, do you know who I am?”

Even after hearing the question, Alice did not answer.

She simply held onto his neck and leaned closer to him. “I want to do this,” she whispered. Closing her eyes and biting her lip, she begged, “Please give it to me.”

“Well, well, well…” Caden muttered to himself.

If it weren't for the fact that he was getting hard down there, I would have thought he was drunk too.

Alice realized she wasn't moving. She muttered, "1 can pay you for that." What the fuck?

Did you really think he was a gigolo again?

The heat of his body lulled her to sleep. “If you make me cum, I can give you even more.”

Caden hesitated. Taking advantage of a drunk woman was not something he wanted to do. But Alicia continued to move on top of him. It was like if she wasn't thinking.

Were you planning to disappear after this?

Caden's frustration grew. Alicia's hands kept wandering, pushing him further.

He grabbed her by the waist and pinned her to the couch.

"Are you sure this is what you want? Do you really want to make love to me?" The next morning came.

Alice was still fast asleep when a loud ringing woke her up.

He opened his eyes and answered the phone.

Monica's voice sounded worried. "Alicia, are you okay?" Monica worked in biological research and was often overwhelmed with work. She hadn't been able to attend Alicia's competition. But when she saw the news that morning about Joshua's proposal, she felt angry and decided to call her.

As she lay under the covers, Alice murmured, "I'm fine." Her drunkenness had already subsided due to her throbbing headache.

Monica noticed a change in Alicia's voice. "Have you been crying? What does he see in Lilliana? It's like he's under a spell. Is Joshua crazy for having feelings for women like her?" Alicia laughed softly.

“No, they make a good couple. I really wish them the best.” Monica was not convinced. “Then why do you sound so tense?”

Alice paused, her thoughts returning to the previous night.

Her memory after drinking was fuzzy. She could only vaguely remember Caden driving her home before she fell asleep.

As she fell asleep, she had a dream. In it, the man she was sleeping with was incredibly attractive.

Feeling a wave of embarrassment, she quickly changed the subject. “Mr. Hopkins chose my song and gave me a generous reward. How about I treat you to dinner?” Although Monica was still worried about her, she agreed.

After finishing the call, Alice got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She felt a slight pain in her legs, but she didn't pay attention to it.

Until she saw her reflection in the mirror and noticed several hickeys on her neck. Alice froze and slightly lowered her shirt collar.

Her cheeks immediately flushed.

The stains on his neck were just the beginning. His chest was also covered in faint bite marks.

Panic gripped her as she realized that what happened last night had not been a dream.

But…

But who could it have been?

Could it have been Caden?

His legs buckled and he fell to the ground, holding his head in disbelief.

She had assumed it was all a fantasy, thinking she had kissed a stranger in a dream. She couldn't believe how bold and daring she had been.

Alicia felt a deep sense of shame wash over her, bringing her to the verge of tears. Desperate to gain some clarity, she ran into the living room and turned on the smart camera recording.

The recording appeared clearly on the screen.

In the video, Caden was kissing her while she was undressing.

She even arched her chest to make it easier for him to continue.

It was wild and out of control.

Alicia lowered her eyes as she processed what she was seeing.
