Chapter 245
Chapter 245
What exactly had Clara been through during that period?
“Mr. Atwood, I’m worried about your health. You’re always zoning out while looking at Ms. Calloway’s photos, and you suffer severe headaches whenever you recall the past. This isn’t good for your health.”
Taylor said, “Regardless, I need to know the truth about Clara.”
Why did he still have such vivid memories of her even after losing his memory if not for his deep love for her? He felt that he must have had some sort of relationship with her!
“Is there anything I can do to help? I’ll do my best.”
“There is,” Taylor pulled out a photo and handed it to him, “This is Leah, she’s blood-related to the Milburn’s, a well-known medical family. Check her out for me, I need the details.”
The secretary nodded and took the photo, “Got it.”
Taylor waved him off, “I’m a bit tired. Oh, and if my mother contacts you, tell her I’m only focusing on work now and have lost interest in Clara. And don’t mention my health.”
“Understood.”
Watching his secretary leave, Taylor weakly picked up the pill bottle which was on the table..
He couldn’t afford to remain sick. If he were to pursue Clara, he needed to recuperate.
In the evening, Aiden and Alex finished school. Aiden left the school with his backpack, while Alex followed, sucking on a lollipop.
“Alex!”
Suddenly, a familiar voice called out. Alex turned around, his face lighting up with surprise!
“Mr. Milburn!”
Hearing the voice, Aiden also looked over. He saw Alex about to run towards a stranger and quickly grabbed him, “Alex! Who is this?”
“This is Mr. Milburn!” Alex laughed, pulling Aiden along, “The person I always tell you about!”
Noticing the resemblance between Aiden and Alex, Elio couldn’t help but marvel,
“You two are really hard to tell apart!”
“Yes! Aiden and I look very alike,” Alex, seemingly fond of Elio, hugged his leg, “Mr. Milburn, I missed you! Why did you only come now?” Elio chuckled and patted her head, “Mr. Milburn only just got some free time.” All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I thought you didn’t like me anymore, that you found other kids.”
Elio looked helpless, “How could that be? You’re my favorite.”
Aiden, watching from the side, frowned,
“Hello, Mr. Milburn!” He stepped forward, lifting Alex off Elio’s leg, “Thanks for helping out my mom and little brother?”
Elio furrowed his brows, crouching down to talk, “You’ve grown so much! I still remember you as a kid.”
When the Melendez family sent their young master to the car, they specifically asked Elio to conduct a detailed check-up.
