Using Baby Daddy For Revenge

Empty room

Thinking of Mark , and the fact that she had to live in his house, scared Melissa a little. Him being her boss with the history between them made her uneasy having to face him everyday at home, but luckily it was just for a few days.

“Just act like any other employee.” She told herself holding a second cup of steaming coffee in her hand.

She needed to find that man, get the evidence her father had against Mr Steven, and make him pay for all he made her go through.

“I have to get that information before I complete my project.” She thought to herself feeling the pressure almost overwhelming her.

Melissa only had a few weeks for her contract to expire and when it does, she won’t have a reason to live in Mark’s house.

Though she planned to tell him about her son, she didn’t think she could use him to stay a little longer.

Or could she?

Thinking about it, Melissa hoped it wouldn’t get to that.

“Hi Mel, sorry I’m late. I had to pass by the office first. You know how it is running your own company.”

After sitting in the cafe for hours, Diana showed up joining her on the table.

“Well you are here now, besides I’ve not waited for long. Just got here myself.” She had to smile hugging her back.

“I’ll have a cup of coffee too before we leave.” Diana smiled waving the waiter over.

Looking at her acting all friendly, Melissa sighed in her heart clenching her fist wondering how their friendship turned into hatred.

After she abandoned her when she needed her most, Melissa didn’t think she would call Diana a friend anymore.

“Oh Mel, I’m so sorry for back then. So much happened and I couldn’t be there when you needed me.” Diana looked at her with a frown on her face.

“That is ancient history D, you don’t have to apologize.” Melissa smiled at her as the waiter brought her order.

“Thank you for understanding me. I’m really happy we’re doing this today.”

A few minutes in the cafe, they went for shopping.

Which was more of Diana showing off how rich she was, and could afford to buy anything.

Purchasing several fancy and expensive clothes and shoes, she offered to buy some for Melissa but Melissa declined, only buying the toiletries she needed. After the purchase, Diana got the sales lady to have them delivered to her home then they went to the club for lunch.

Getting to the club it was impossible for Melissa to shake Diana off, as she was watching her every move insisting on following her everywhere she went, so she had to sit and have lunch hoping for a chance to sneak away.

With the dining hall fully parked it’s being a weekend, Melissa looked around suspecting that Diana had some people watching them.

When she got a chance to sneak out as Diana excused herself to answer a business call, she anxiously headed to the room almost tasting the victory as she would finally get her justice.

True to her suspicion, she noticed two men following her, and with a hope of throwing them off, she went to the restroom. Having to stay in the washroom for a while, she managed to shake them off leaving in a group of women, but by the time she went to the room, it was too late. To her disappointment there was no one there.

“Ma’am may I help you?” One of the clubs employee asked when he saw her at the door.

“Did the people who booked this room come?” She inquired standing in the bright lit empty room.

“Yes, you just missed them, they left ten minutes ago.”

“What? They left? Do you know them.. I mean can you tell me who they were and which way they went?”

“Sorry, it’s against the club rules, I can’t give you any information. It’s confidential.”

“Okay I understand, thank you anyway.” Hopelessness falling on her, she walked back to the dining hall, where Diana was waiting.

Though she didn’t know that man, she got back looking at the other diners to see if she would see a familia face.

“Melissa what took you so long? I was about to come look for you.” Diana spoke busy on her phone, and looking at her Melissa wondered what business she and her father carried out using their transport company.

“I lost my way back, but got one of the employee’s to help direct me back.”

“Ha ha ha.. Mel you have not changed, after all these years you still have no sense of direction.”

“You can’t blame me D, have not been in such a big and luxurious place for along time.”

“Well what can I say, aunt and uncle pampered you so much it’s a pity how life has changed for you.” Hearing her words Melissa sneered in her heart clenching her hands into fist.

“I’ll make you pay for everything I have gone through.” Her gaze on Diana darkening, she swore to herself.

“I have to go now D. I’ve been out all morning, my friend may be looking for me.” Since she didn’t manage to meet the person she wanted to, Melissa didn’t see any reason for her to stay and pretend to enjoy the company.

“Yeah we should go, why don’t I give you a ride.” Diana offered with an interest of finding out where Melissa lived so they could keep an eye on her, and know what she was up to.

Since they met she sent people to truck her down but they got no information. No one ever saw her leaving or going into her work place and it was getting hard to know her every move.

“No need to trouble yourself D, I’ll take a taxi.” Melissa turned her down afraid of letting her know where and who she was living with.

Though she didn’t have evidence against them, she knew Diana’s dad was behind the company’s bankruptcy and probably Diana was in cahoots, thus making her has dangerous.

While Diana was distracted by the waiter who brought their bill, Melissa got her phone under the table and sent a text to the driver to pick her up.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

“Come on Mel, it’s no trouble, we are Long time friends almost like sisters, and I would love to see this friend of yours.

“Really D, you don’t have to.” Just then she got a message, a reply from the driver. “Oh! My friend just texted, he’s here to pick me up.”

“Great, let go I would love to see him.” She said getting up before Melissa could respond, and as they got to the packing lot they were surprised.

He came to pick her up in a limousine.
