Freya was in a daze, conscious but unable to open her heavy eyelids. Her awareness sank, unable to break free from the dark restraint, and she drifted back into a deep slumber.

Seeing that she hadn’t awakened, Elijah breathed a sigh of relief. If she woke up, she would certainly not be this calm. With that thought, Elijah’s expression gradually darkened.
