You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 160 No Good Ending

Freya frantically kicked her legs, but she couldn’t break free from the restraints.

“Help! Help!” She lost her composure.

She was consumed with horror since the current situation made it impossible for her to remain composed. With so many people on the other side, each one glaring at her like wolves, she had no chance.

“Shout louder. The more you shout, the more excited I become,” a man said as he took off his shirt.

Just as he was about to pin her down, there was a loud bang, and the iron door of the container was kicked open!

The man, annoyed, said, “Who the hell…”

Before he could finish his sentence, a dark figure flashed by, and he was kicked away. His body arced like a parabola, low in the air, and finally crashed into the iron sheet of the container with a loud thud. The man groaned in pain, clutching his abdomen.

“Who are you people…?” They were caught off guard by the sudden appearance. Thorne Silverton’s men didn’t react in time, still boasting, “Do you know whose territory this is? Are you tired of living?”

Xander, coldly, said, “None of you will escape today.”

With his words, the people he brought in stormed in, overwhelming the men inside. Inside the confined space of the container, the noise escalated, accompanied by cries of pain. Freya got up, feeling a sudden warmth on her shoulders. She looked up to see Elijah. He appeared calm, but his eyes were filled with anger, only forcefully suppressed, making it less obvious.

Freya saw through the suppressed fear and concern in his eyes.

Was he afraid and concerned because of her?

She didn’t know and didn’t have time to think about it. She adjusted her suit jacket, hurriedly descended from the box, and ran to Kai. She lifted him, and he, now responsive, seemed like the effects of the sedative had worn off. He didn’t cry, just stared with round, curious eyes, rotating them as if examining everything around.

Freya wanted to hold back her tears, but they fell onto Kai’s face.

“I’m sorry,” she choked, her voice filled with self-blame and hatred.

She blamed herself for not taking care of him properly and hated Thorne Silverton for drugging her child. She suddenly raised her head. But what she saw was Elijah, focused on the baby in her arms. His gaze was complex and burning.

Was he about to touch the child?

Elijah’s hand trembled violently, and the surge of emotions was difficult to control.

Was this his child?

Was he a father now?

“He…” He began to speak, but his voice was hoarse.

Freya, hugging Kai tightly, spoke calmly, “Elijah, it’s not the time for emotions now. I almost… Kai was also drugged.”

“I know.” Elijah had never forgotten. He received Freya’s message and immediately had her phone located. Following the trace, he found the dock. When the lead was lost at the dock, he knew her disappearance was related to it.

So, he quickly investigated the dock, and along the way, he saw Jack Silverton boarding the ship.

He instantly had an answer in his heart, so he brought people to search for her on the sea. He blamed himself for acting too slowly. If he had been a little later, the consequences would have been unimaginable. Thinking about seeing Freya being… his breathing became rapid. There was an impulse to destroy everything. The sharpness in his eyes softened as he looked at Freya and the child in her arms. He gently gathered Freya into his arms. “I’ll take you to a safe place first.”

Freya nodded. This was not a place to stay for long. She followed Elijah out of the container.

Thorne Silverton, who had heard the commotion, rushed over. Seeing Elijah had already rescued Freya and the child, his face turned black. “How did you find this place?”

He believed that Elijah would never find out. He was too familiar with Xander’s way of investigating, so he had successfully evaded Xander’s investigation. Now, he couldn’t figure out how Elijah found this place since he had distanced himself from Xander’s investigation.

Calista, thinking of something, looked at Freya. “Was it you? I remember when we were on the way to the dock, you checked your phone. Did you leak the information about coming to the dock at that time?”

Thorne gnashed his teeth in anger. “You ruined my plan?”

Freya’s eyes were ice-cold. “Ruined your plan? All you’ve done is despicable and heinous. You will surely get what you deserve!”

Calista realized that she had ruined Thorne Silverton’s plan and felt indebted to him. Looking at Freya, her eyes carried a hint of resentment. If she hadn’t recklessly believed Freya and been used by her, Thorne Silverton’s plan wouldn’t have been foiled, and the revelation of his gambling den wouldn’t have come out. She clenched her fists.

Even at this stage, Thorne Silverton refused to admit defeat. He didn’t think he had lost. It hadn’t reached the point of no return for him. He still had a chance to turn things around.

“Who wins and who loses is still uncertain,” Thorne Silverton raised his head arrogantly.

Elijah, holding Freya, stood tall, the sunlight casting a shadow on the deck, emitting a chilling darkness.

“The score today will be settled between us,” he said coldly. “Xander.”

Xander immediately stepped forward. “Yes, Mr Silverton.”

“Throw that man who tried to harm Freya into the sea to feed the fish.” Elijah’s gaze was sharp, without a hint of warmth.NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

Xander understood and immediately dragged the man who had tried to assault Freya, beaten to the point he couldn’t stand, outside.

“Throw him in,” Xander assisted.

The man, frightened, begged for mercy, “Please spare me! Spare me! I won’t dare anymore. I only did what I was told by the Second Young Master…”

“Throw him,” Elijah knew that the instigator was Thorne Silverton.

Killing this man was not only to give Freya justice but also to vent his anger. He couldn’t tolerate anyone who dared to touch the woman he cared about.

“Master Thorne, save me!” The big man, who was now crying, pleaded with Thorne.

Thorne had the intention, but at this moment, he was powerless. There was no way to save him.

“Master Thorne, I’ve done so much for you, worked hard for you, and you can’t just watch me die, right? Moreover, I only followed orders from you.” The man tried to persuade Thorne Silverton.

Even though the ship was now under Elijah’s control, Thorne Silverton couldn’t free himself. How could he possibly save the man?

“I’ve been loyal to you, sir. You can’t let me die, can you? Besides, I only followed your orders…”

Thorne Silverton’s subordinates, watching this scene, couldn’t help but tighten their necks. Being afraid that the next one thrown into the sea would be themselves. In this deep-sea area, even if one could swim, they would eventually die of exhaustion.

The man’s struggling became smaller and smaller, teetering on the edge of death.

Elijah smiled faintly, “Seems like following you doesn’t lead to a good ending.”

Thorne Silverton’s face turned dark.

Wasn’t this an attempt to stir up dissent among his subordinates, showing them the consequences of offending him?
