I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 122

Help Me

"Benjamin, stop making trouble, okay?"

Harper frowned and looked annoyed.

Benjamin paused. His handsome face betrayed evident reluctance. He looked down slightly at her and whispered, "Help me, will you?"

His magnetic voice was extremely bewitching as if he was coaxing her, which made her fall into deep thought.

Harper had already gone to bed before Benjamin arrived, so she was dressed in simple cotton pajamas. However, she was radiant and lovely. Her skin looked even softer and more refined under the light. She closed her eyes, a feeling intensifying.

Staring at Benjamin quietly, she was about to speak when he suddenly pulled her directly into the bathtub.

He said in a low voice, "If you don't want to help me, let's take a bath together."

Upon realizing it, Harper was already soaked to the skin.

Frowning, she glared at Benjamin. "Are you crazy?"

Then, while Benjamin sat in the bathtub, seemingly unaware, she immediately stepped out of the bathtub and walked out of the bathroom quickly.

She felt exasperated. His actions had just undermined her resolve, but she hadn't anticipated that he would remain self-absorbed, completely disregarding her feelings.

Harper regretted letting him in and thought she should have kicked him out.

Blushing with anger, she retreated to her room to change her clothes. Then, she decided not to pay him any more attention and leave him alone.

Harper directly locked the bedroom door and lay down on the bed.Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

However, she became sleepless, and even lullabies were of no avail. Repeatedly, a figure crossed her mind, and it was rather annoying.

It took a while before Harper finally felt drowsy. She did not sleep long and suddenly awoke in a daze. Grabbing her phone to check the time, she discovered it was already half past five in the morning. She froze for a moment, and then something occurred to her. She immediately got out of bed and left the room, only to find the living room empty. Her subconscious reaction was that he was gone. She hurried to the bathroom, stunned by the scene before her.

With his eyes closed, Benjamin rested his upper body on the rim of the bathtub, while the rest of him remained submerged. Harper hurried over and tested the water, which had already turned cold. Furrowing her eyebrows, she pushed his arm. "Benjamin? Benjamin, wake up."

But Benjamin, fast asleep, made no response.

He couldn't stay in the water all the time. Otherwise, he would catch a cold. Harper reached out and pinched his nose. "Benjamin?"

Benjamin instinctively waved it away as his breathing was blocked.

Harper said, "Benjamin, let me help you get up and go back to bed, okay?"

He didn't reply.

Harper pinched his nose again, and it took many times before Benjamin was willing to cooperate.

Back in the bedroom, she directed him to a chair and gently urged, "Benjamin, take off your clothes. Wet clothes will drench the quilt."

"No."

Benjamin refused directly.

Then, with half-closed eyes, he was about to walk towards the bed. Harper quickly stopped him. "You'll catch a cold. If you don't obey, I won't take care of you anymore. What about I call Curtis to pick you up?" He fell silent and looked at her tiredly before saying, "Help me undress."
