I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 130

He's Talking Nonsense

Harper remained silent. Benjamin pinched her chin, narrowed his eyes, and said angrily, "Harper, answer me. Will you turn him away?"

"Benjamin, even if he is just an ordinary friend, I can't drive him away. What's more, Frank is more than a friend. He's a partner who has provided me with significant support."

"So you are not willing to keep a distance from him anyway." His eyes darkened, and the grip on her chin tightened. He lowered his head and leaned closer to her. His lips were hot.

Harper just looked at him indifferently. "I don't understand what you mean by keeping a distance. Should I not have contact with all men, even if they are just friends or work associates? If this is the case, does it mean that I need to quit the company and work from home alone?"

"I don't ask you to stay away from everyone but those who like you. Harper, I do not believe that you could not see through Frank's crush on you. Or you're already aware of it, but you just enjoy being admired." "Benjamin Martin!" Harper furiously called Benjamin by his full name. Looking at his cold face, she said, "So, is this who I am in your eyes?"

He paused, squinting with his deep eyes at her moving red lips. It suddenly seemed to him that it would be more comfortable for her not to speak, and in an instant, he bent his head and kissed her. There was a door behind her. Harper had no place to run, so she could only subconsciously cover her lips.

Benjamin's warm lips fell on her palm.

He didn't care, but his eyes gradually became dim.

Their eyes locked. Harper said in a low voice, "Benjamin, I have emphasized some things more than once. You can misunderstand me, but you can't slander my friend. Frank and I will always be friends." With that said, she pushed Benjamin away directly. Because he didn't stop her, she easily got away, opened the door, and went out of the bedroom.

Harper walked into the kitchen with a bottle of mineral water and handed it to Frank. "Thank you."

Frank took the water. "Are you being polite to me?"

Then, he unscrewed the cap of the bottle and drank a third of the water before placing the bottle on the cooking counter nearby.

He was making clam chowder, baked fish, roasted chicken, and lettuce salad.

Out of the corner of his eye, he found Harper staring blankly at the gurgling soup in the pot in a daze. He paused and asked, "Harper, why did you move out?"

He wanted to ask if she had moved out because of Benjamin's so-called fun, but when the question was almost on his lips, he couldn't ask.

Harper came back to her senses, met his gaze, and replied, "I want to calm down. I've been through a lot lately, and it's all just too much to handle."Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Well, it's good to calm down." Frank asked, "He didn't allow you to move out, so he chased you here, right?"

"How is that possible?" She smiled faintly, barely perceptibly.

Frank said, "How is it impossible? I can feel that your relationship seems to be better than before. He just told me that you are planning to have a baby. Is it true?" Harper, stunned, looked into Frank's eyes. She frowned and said, "He's talking nonsense."

Frank became slightly solemn, and his voice remained gentle. "Harper, what are your plans? He wanted to divorce you before, but I feel that he has changed his mind now."
