Chapter 2008
Torah's mother finally revealed the truth to him.
"In fact, you're a child of dragonkin and gods. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier," Torah's mother admitted while weeping.
"But... why?" Torah asked, tears streaming down his face as well.
"Why tell me all this now? Why are you here, Mother?"
Torah's mother slowly dissipated before his eyes.
Suddenly, there was a voice in the dark, calling out, "Torah! Wake up, kid!"
"Is someone calling me?" Torah wondered. "Who is it? Is... Is it Commander Cormick?"
...
Back on the battlefield, Torah was slowly opening his eyes.
A massive tentacle, as hard as a nail, had pierced his body.
Torah looked down at his body in disbelief, then at the monstrous creature before him. He realized then that he had been hypnotized by that creature.
The creature had then taken advantage of the situation to stab him. Now, he was awake.
"Mother, thank you." Torah knew then that his mother had told him all that to wake him up.
"Divine power? Did I inherit some too? Whatever, it doesn't matter. I'm ready!"
Torah grabbed the tentacle that had pierced his chest and then forcefully snapped it off with his massive arm!
Cormick watched Torah who was now awake from below and gave a thumbs-up. "Haha! Kid, you're amazing!"
Torah glanced at him before charging furiously toward the tentacled monster. The monster began to retreat step by step, seemingly bewildered by Torah's sudden onslaught. Torah grabbed two of its tentacles. "Guess what's next?" Torah said while forcefully pulling on the creature's tentacles.
The two tentacles tore in half, and blood came splattering down like rain droplets on the ground.
Torah struck again, and the monster's eyeball burst.
The massive creature dissolved into a puddle of black water, seemingly melting into the ground. "Damn it! Did it escape?" Torah cursed through gritted teeth.
At that moment, a holy light shone once more directly on Torah's dragon head. There was an instant explosion, leaving only a headless giant beast collapsed in the Center of the battlefield. en noveldrama
"Kid!" Cormick shouted in anguish.
Cormick could only turn his head as he had been nailed to the ground.
After killing Torah, the pope made his way toward Cormick.

Back at the Summit of the Ten Thousand Dynasties, everyone had joined forces to attack the Sky-Devouring Demon God, Skye.
Skye wielded his massive war hammer and swung it toward the crowd.
Clint immediately used an acceleration spell to help everyone escape the hammer's range.
Then, the group flew into the air and began bombarding the demon god with attacks. However, none of their attacks seemed to hurt him.
"Damn it!" Cursing, Clint deployed another array. This was a time one in an attempt to immobilize Skye.
"Art of Endless Night, Heaven and Earth Freeze!"
The array beneath Clint's feet instantly appeared above Skye's head. The formation slowly
descended, and to his surprise in et
actually managed to immobilize Skye. However, the array shattered just after the briefest pause.
Clint also fell from the sky, with Zaafea narrowly catching him.
"You really are something. Trying to control a god? You'd have to be stronger than him."
"Are none of our attacks effective?" Clint flew up again at this point.
Zaafea did not rush to act and carefully observed the people in front of him.

Lana released her celestial power, which obstructed Skye's line of sight, but then he powered up and prepared to strike with his hammer again.
It was then that Ryan leaped directly onto Skye's arm.
