No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 185

Noelle briefly communicated with Lionel, then realized the person answering the phone was likely one of her family members-maybe Donovan or Frank.

Just like in her previous life, they took matters into their own hands and decided which school she should apply to.

Despite having the grades to get into a top university in her past life, she was forced to attend the same school as Xenia. They claimed it was for Xenia and her to look after each other.

If she disagreed, they would cut off her allowance and all financial support.

Noelle's expression turned cold. "Mr. Kramer, you know my relationship with my family. I didn't expect them to make decisions for me without consulting me. However, I'm going to Yole University. I need to change my account and password."

Lionel replied, "Alright, I understand. I'll contact the admissions office right away. You should come in person to confirm your enrollment."

Lionel knew the Liddells were biased, but he never expected their favoritism to go this far.

He couldn't understand how they could reject the offer on Noelle's behalf without consulting her. It was as if they were deliberately trying to ruin her future.

After hanging up the phone, Noelle washed her face and changed her clothes. Before leaving the apartment, she glanced at the door of the neighboring unit.

She thought about it for a moment but decided not to tell Cedric. She needed to handle her own matters.

She couldn't rely on Cedric too much.

In the afternoon, Noelle took a taxi to the university alone.

When she arrived, she met with the admissions staff from Yole University.

Lionel introduced her. "This is Noelle Liddell. I've briefly explained her family situation to you, but this doesn't reflect Noelle's wishes."noveldrama

The admission staff smiled. "Got it. Based on your scores, you're eligible for our top programs-Finance, Computer Science and Mathematics. Feel free to explore your interests, and we can discuss them further."

Noelle had already decided. She was interested in Computer Science and Medicine.

After talking with the admissions staff, she realized several hours had passed.

As she left the meeting room, she saw the sunset and felt the warmth in the air.

Her mood lifted. At least this time, no one could change her decision regarding her university application.

"Noelle, what are you doing here?", Donovan asked, looking surprised saw her. "You didn't come

sw you?"

Noelle coldly responded, "Why can't I be here? Is this school yours?"

Donovan frowned. "Noelle, what's with your attitude?"

She retorted, "I'm just matching yours."

Noelle's disgust was now so deep that she couldn't even pretend to hide it.

After discovering they had secretly changed her university choices once again, the disgust she felt was overwhelming.

Xenia pretended to cry and said, "Noelle, are you here to testify against me for cheating? Why are you slandering me?"

Typically, investigations into

cheating required someone to testify. Xenia thought for sure that Noelle wouldn't speak up in her favor. ,

Donovan immediately frowned. "Noelle, what have you been saying to the school? Do you realize that spreading rumors has consequences?"

Under the Sun, Noelle's fair skin stood out in her simple white T-shirt. She wore an expression of

hearing what Donovan said.

Suddenly, Lionel's voice came from behind her. "Mr. Liddell, Noelle is here for

something else, not because of Xenia."
