Chapter 3296
Then again, Paige and Cain were the ones who had caused all of this so they could only regret and blame themselves for it!
Camryn laughed. "My mood would be beautiful if theirs were foul. Alright. I'll go visit them with Trenton tomorrow. No matter how you look at it, one's still my uncle, and the other my mother-of course I have to go see them. The less they want to see me, the more I'm going to visit."
Callum said, "Then I'll ask Zachary for the day off tomorrow to drive you guys there. I'll visit too."
Paige would probably be driven crazy with anger. Her beloved daughter had not married Callum, but the daughter she hated became the apple of his eye. Callum did not want them to be in a good mood after all they had done to hurt Camryn, despite them having received their punishment. To drive them up the wall and frustrate them was exactly what he wanted.
Camryn did not refuse. The couple walked a lap around their yard before returning to their house. Trenton was still on the first floor but had fallen asleep on the couch, leaning to one side.
"This kid he's still just like when he was a child. He always falls asleep wherever he is sitting instead of heading back to his room to sleep." Camryn was about to wake Trenton when Callum stopped her.
"Just cover him with a blanket and let him sleep here."
That way, Trenton would not hear anything even if they got too loud later.
Camryn looked at her husband, and understood tacitly. She was left speechless, while Callum was already grabbing a blanket from the guest room. He gently covered Trenton before pulling his beloved wife upstairs. Camryn was truly at a loss for words at the animal before her.
She slept the whole afternoon and only woke up when it was already dark out. It was completely dark inside too. When Callum left, night probably had not fallen yet because he would leave a light on for her if it had, knowing that she hated the dark. Having lived in darkness for ten years, she was deeply afraid of waking up in a dark space, making her think she was still blind.
Feeling for her phone on the bedside table, she tapped it to light up the screen. It was around six in the evening, but because it was wintertime, the sun set early. Camryn did not rush to turn on the light. She lay there for a while and only got up to turn on the light when she could not sleep anymore. Callum was probably cooking downstairs. As long as he was home, he would potter around the kitchen all day trying to make something delicious for her. He was always saying she was too thin and needed to fill out, though thanks to him, she was already much chubbier and rosier than before. Luckily, she had good self-control and did not binge eat, or else she really would be fattened up by him in the blink of an eye. After getting out of bed and washing her face, she put on a sweater and headed downstairs. Minutes later, she appeared on the first floor.noveldrama
"Hey, Camryn." Trenton had woken up long ago. When he noticed the blanket covering him, he guessed that Camryn had put it on him. He had not even realized he had fallen asleep. He was just a little tired from the few-hour journey and intended a shut-eye but it ended up a nap.
"Food's ready. Callum made a lot of your favorites. I asked him to make just two of mine, but he told me to do it myself. He's so biased." Trenton grumbled good-naturedly.
What do you think?
