Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3297

Camryn laughed. "What do you want to eat? I'll ask Callum to make it for you."

"I like everything he makes."

"That won't do, then. He cooks as long as he's home. Our chef worries every day that Callum's going to replace him."

Trenton laughed heartily. "You're so lucky, Camryn."

If Camryn had not married Callum, Trenton would never have known how good all the York men were at cooking.

"I think I'm really lucky too."

It would be even better if they could have a baby earlier, but Camryn did not say this aloud. Besides, Dr. Carden had said that she would be able to get pregnant naturally in two years' time. There was no need to worry and all she had to do was wait. Their baby would definitely come to them if it was fated.

"You're up, honey? Wash your hands and let's eat." Callum called out from the kitchen.

"Coming." Trenton went to help serve the food.

After dinner, Trenton said, "Camryn, I'm thinking of looking for Carrie and seeing how she's doing."

"Did she answer your call?"

No matter how bad Carrie was, she was still Trenton's full sister. Camryn never intended to separate them.

Trenton hummed in acknowledgment and answered, "I called her earlier. She said she doesn't have money to rent a house now and doesn't have a permanent residence. She's asked me to meet her at the Starbucks near Grand Wiltspoon Square."

Carrie had broken her lease a long time ago, had not rented a new place, and lied to her little brother that she did not have a permanent residence. She wanted to tug at Trenton's heartstrings so he would sympathize with her and turn on Camryn.

Trenton still had Camryn's trust, so if Carrie could do that, she would definitely be able to bring Camryn down and take back everything her parents lost. Then, she would be the head of the Newman family.noveldrama

Mr. Longbottom had promised her that as long as she fulfilled his asking of her, she could even have Callum if she wanted, and she wanted everything Camryn had at the moment. Let Camryn continue to live in darkness. She would dig out Camryn's eyeballs and make her blind again! No matter how good Dr. Carden was, she could not cure that.

"Camryn, I want to rent a place for Carrie so that she has a place to stay, at least. I'll pay a year's rent upfront so she doesn't get her hands on the rent money and spend it all."

Camryn said calmly, "You can decide for yourself. You don't have to ask for my permission."

Knowing that the two sisters were like enemies, Trenton did not say more. After sitting there for a little while more, Trenton was heading off.

"I'll get the driver to send you," Camryn said.

"Okay. Thanks, Camryn," Trenton accepted. He had not gotten his driver's license because when he turned eighteen, he was already back at school and did not manage to go for the test.
