Chapter 3310
noveldrama
Clive's son, Elias, was crying. Clive walked around the room with Elias in his arms to calm him.
Alice did not even open her eyes. She asked, "Is he hungry? Or did he poop?"
"I think he's hungry. You can continue sleeping, love. I'll coax him and give him some formula. He'll be asleep until about nine after drinking the formula."
Alice hummed in agreement. She turned around and went back to sleep.
Although they had a nanny, the nanny could only carry Elias when he was asleep. If she tried carrying him when he was awake, he would start crying within minutes.
It was because he needed to smell his mother's scent.
Therefore, Alice would look after Elias during most of the day. Luckily, he was a good boy too whenever Audrey and Elisa helped out. Otherwise, Alice would have died from exhaustion.
Elisa often praised Elias for knowing how to differentiate family from other people. He never cried when his family members carried him.
However, he would break into tears immediately in his nanny's arms.
He even cried after being carried by Alice's mom for a while.
Elias could recognize people despite his young age.
Clive placed Elias back on the bed and prepared baby formula.
Actually, Elias refused to take the formula as he was used to having breast milk. However, he was willing to take it when he was hungry.
At that moment, Clive's phone rang.
He was irritated. Who was calling him that early in the morning?
Did they not know he had a baby to care for?
Nevertheless, Clive went to answer the call, afraid the ringtone would wake Alice. It was Gabe. He picked up the call while making baby formula. "What's wrong?"
"Waah..."
Elias woke up hungry and immediately started wailing. Not only did he not get his milk, but his father had put him back to bed.
"Mr. Clive, a few elderly men are here. They said they are the people Mrs. Stone has been looking for. I've never seen them before, so I don't know if that's true. They even addressed Mrs. Stone by her first name.
"I'm letting them in now because it's cold outside. They are ancients with hundreds of years among them. I'm worried we might have to take responsibility if something happens, so I'm inviting them inside now."
'They were looking for Mom? Mom had been searching for them?'
Clive immediately thought of his grandmother's assistant, whom his mother had indeed been looking for. Liberty had mentioned before that Belinda had gone on a trip and that she most probably found the old assistant's whereabouts.
It was Caroline who passed the information to Liberty.
Liberty had advised Caroline to be cautious as it could be a potential trap set up by Belinda.
Nevertheless, Julian was keeping an eye on Belinda's movements.
Belinda had thrown the Stone family's people off quickly. Since she was aware of them, they could not send more people. Even if they did, it would be useless.
Only Julian's men could continue watching her.
However, there was no confirmed information yet. Had she really found Patrick?
Audrey said Patrick would be over ny years old if he were still alive.
The chances were slim, but they did not give up.
They could not let go of even the slightest glimmer of hope.
As Audrey had said, they had to take back everything from the Fisher family. They did not deserve to be Tiara's descendants if they did not avenge them and punish their enemy.
"Is my mom awake?"
"Not yet. You're the earliest riser in the family now."
After a moment of silence, Clive said, "Treat them well. I'll head downstairs after feeding Elias."
"Okay."
Gabe let out a breath of relief after hearing Clive's answer.
